another stat from a unupgraded life/light-rush, inspired by Kurohami´s Life/Light unupped speed rush (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,6150.msg69696#msg69696)
i replaced the carapace and the bonds with frogs for more speed.

here the deck:
Code: [Select]
5bt 5bt 5bt 5bt 5bt 5bt 5bu 5bu 5bu 5bu 5bu 5bu 5bv 5bv 5bv 5bv 5bv 5bv 5c7 5c7 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8stats:

ttw: 8.28 (50 games)
losses: 11
em: 0

details:
ttw 6:   7
ttw 7:   9
ttw 8: 10
ttw 9:   4
ttw 10: 2
ttw 11: 4
ttw 12: 1
ttw 13: 2

its a bit tricky to play this deck. the a.i. prefers to destroy your rustler and not your frogs. and thats the bestt way to mess this deck up.

Me and jm have decided to test whether it's better to have a speed EM deck or a rush deck. I had the pleasure of testing hrmmm's golem rush. Pretty much, we're supposed to play 50 games and record the time it took and the electrum/score/wins/losses gained. Here are the results:

Start:
Time - 8:25
Electrum - 42010
Score - 55976
Wins - 1973
Losses - 1616

Finish - 9:30
Electrum - 43619
Score - 56832
Wins - 2020
Losses - 1619

Net Result:
Time: 65 mins
Electrum: +1609
Score: +856
Wins: +47
Losses: +3
Cards won: Fire spirit, ice shield, miracle, pegasus, FFQ, 2 fate eggs, 2 devourers, PU, 2 graboids, 3 EQ
24.75 electrum/min
13.17 score/min

I finally got around to running statistics with Selenbrant's EM life deck to compare. Here's what I found.

Before
Score - 173,724
Electrum - 4,794
Time - 12:27

After
Score - 175,108
Electrum - 6,623
Time - 1:44

Net
Score - 1,384
Electrum - 1,829
Time - 77 minutes
24 cards won
36 EM

23.75 electrum/minute
17.97 score/minute

So in conclusion, the EM deck averages 4.8 more score per minute, but averages 1 less electrum per minute than the fire rush.  Running the math, that's essentailly 1K score and an upped card every hour with the EM deck versus AI 3.

This is my rush deck. Its what I compare everything against rush wise when testing. Better than 99% wins against AI3 in my history of using it. Should be near the top of the list for speed.

I noticed that my deck is even better with unupped dragons
- you only pay 10 :life
- there is no difference between 12 and 10 attack unless you attack the dragon attacks at least 3... times, because all other creature have 5 attack(before you attack 3 times AI3 is dead)

As far as the upped dragon, the 9 hp is the big plus for being the meatshield of a life lineup.  For some decks the 9 hp makes a big difference (adrenaline decks where fire shield or poison clear your field quickly come to mind).  In my limited tested, I think I agree that for this deck the unupped dragon likely works better.  The extra 2 quanta are just enough for an extra heal to be cast and can lead to a higher EM chance and slightly faster ttw average.

On a second thought, have you looked at Jade staff over Jade shield?

Without that freak loss I had, your life EM stats look even better.  Not sure it would hold up for t50, but Selenbrant's life rush seems like the optimal score/quanta generating deck for AI3.

I updated the stats for Antagon's unupped graboid deck.

I may have to give Kael hate's deck a second look; I would have expected it to be faster, maybe in the 5.8-6.0 ttw range.  4 loses in 50 seems like much, but there are no towers and lots of 1 hp creatures, so CC can hit this deck pretty hard.  Maybe you did just hit an unlucky stretch.  I'll probably give this guy a play through when I have a chance since it looks pretty interesting.

Replacing the mirror shield and miracle with pegasus/archangels would probably decrease the Ttw.

I dont use it for T50, since life rush has neither perm nor creature control.
