the names that have appeared here are a testiment to how big a part of this community you have been its sad to see a simple poor ruleset is enough to drive someone who was a key part of the community away but thats how the cookie crumbles on the few times I did play you it was evidence enough of how much of a legend you are.

I probably should have explained my farewell in the OP, but for what it's worth to those who might care, I did not leave because I lost the Grandmaster title. I left because I realized that I was devoting an absurd amount of time to that match and to elements as a whole, which was affecting my RL. I have accomplished more in elements than I ever expected and I have made a lot of friends. I probably should have left a long time ago, but I loved this game too much.

that makes things better at least two veterans have left due to community issues I don't want to see too many people leave due to a poor community response

Whew. I hadn't replied here earlier because I was afraid that I'd just anger you, considering my hand in Grandmaster rules. You have always been an inspiration to me and many others, and you were one of the people I hoped to beat one day in PvP. You have established yourself as the best PvPer EtG ever had, and even if you never return, your legend will live on. Though I hope you do return at least to defend your title, so that I can try to beat you one last time. But whatever you do, best of luck with the rest of your life deuce
