Thanks everyone.

I'll skip the introduction section, I think. I never posted there in the first place I think.

As to what kept me away: I had a family event which kept me away for a previously undefined amount of time. I went to Colorado, and the place I was staying didn't have internet. And the times I was at McDonalds/etc, I didn't want to bother checking this forum.

... Sounds a bit sketchy, reading it after the fact. But oh well.

Hey! Go post in the introductions section and make yourself known again! And welcome back!

What is it that you had to leave for again? Have a baby or something?

So uh, hi.

Not much has changed, it seems?

Looks like we're departing at about the same time.  I guess that's a good thing that we don't have a chance to regret parting ways as we both move on to other things in our lives.

Well, bittersweet really.  It was reassuring to have you back at my side for War 6, and it's going to be difficult saying goodbye to such a great teammate.

But you're intelligent, you make good decisions on your own, and you seem to share my desire for not letting the small things get the best of you.  I don't think I need to be worried about where Life takes you; you'll do just fine regardless of what obstacles get thrown in your way.

I hope what has happened to you proves to be very helpful to you in life.

Farewell, and may your next chapter in life be a successful one.

You made a fine team member in the last War, and I'm sure Life will miss you this War. On the odd occasion I see that name and the Sky Blitz icon I know I'll be reading something well thought-out.

Good luck with whatever life has in store for you Belligerence.

I'm sure to most of you, I'm just another lurker. I've been around for over a year, but you don't know me because I only rarely post. I participated in 2 Wars, but I didn't really stand out. I considered simply leaving for a while, but I figured I might as well post here.

I've recently had something come to fruition that I've waited the better part of 2 years for. What, exactly, I'd rather not disclose. But it's something I've waited a very long time for, and something which doesn't allow me the free time to sit around playing games and doing nothing.

I'm leaving midwar. I'm aware of this. If my circumstances allowed it, I would happily finish up this War, but I can't. I hope my leaving doesn't cause too much inconvenience, and I hope everyone has as much fun with the remainder of War as I had with the beginning.

I'll be back, eventually. When exactly, I'm not sure, but I look forward to that day.

I'd considered leaving a special section for the friends I've made, what precious few I honestly consider friends, but I won't. Those of you who became friends to me know that, and hopefully that's enough.

With that, I close this chapter of my life, with hopes that it won't gather too much dust before I can reopen it again.
