Will, your was the first farewell post I have read here, and after discovering your earlier activity, you became an icon, a hero to me. Your personality is reminding me what I was like a bit younger, and what I have forgot about what life can give to us, and what we can give to others.

It was really good to see you back for a day on the 1.4 update topic, but it was too good to be true. You didn't come back. :(

Sorry that I missed this one for so long, Will. As one of the players that made this a great experience for me from the beginning, I feel I owe you a farewell at least. Over the years(oh yes. we had a long run.) we've had our differences, but in the end I think we made some pretty good friends. I won't forget some of the best times we had. tbh whenever I thought of this forum I thought of you. I thought of the great decks by you that I might find here when I checked it, I thought of the jokes you and Higs would make when I entered chat, and slowly, I saw these start to happen less and less often. I can't believe you, one of the people with the greatest understanding of this game, of this forum, of this community in its entirety, and of how to do exactly what you have done, has gone.

Decided to make a more... personal post, if you will, and delete my original.

For the first while after I joined, maybe even the first 6-12 months, I had considered you to be one of the "elitists", and didn't really end up interacting or anything with you. When I was more of a noob, no pun intended, I saw you older people, veterans even, as your own little group, and had even grown a sort of indifference to you older players, especially when I was first learning the ropes. However, I'd say it was maybe after my first full year, or even after I gained my first title, that I actually got to know you. We had actually had good conversations together, we both got to know each other, and we actually interacted in chat (ermehgerd!). After getting to know you, you have easily earned my respect, and I know you leaving is a loss to this whole community.

I hope you do visit again soon, and I wish you and your Nina the best of luck in your schooling, your relationship, and your :life

will, you're one of the big reasons I put Life down as one of my favourite element for my War 5 - up until then I only knew you as one of the Masters and someone who made the occasional, and quite funny, chat comment. Since then I've come to respect you as someone who truly cares about the effort you put to everything you do, and the people you meet.

To list all the things you've done for the community and each person individually would take an entire thread and an effort from the whole community. I'm sure I could fill a wall of text with only what I've learnt and seen from you. So thank you, for everything you've done here, and wishing you the best for the future.

Well, this is surely a surprise. Good luck will, with whatever you do. Over the time I've come to know you, you've definitely earned my respect. Not just for your work, but because you always seemed... relaxed, willng to let stuff go, and just do what you can. I've admired you, and I'm sure whatever you move to next, you'll do just fine with.

I know I'll be back, I can only hope I'll see you... eventually.
