I've been holding off on starting this topic because I wanted to see my part of War through until the end, but since that's pretty much over, it's finally time.

This isn't another case of someone getting too much to deal with in real life for there to be any time for forum activities or spending so much time on the forums that their grades have plummeted (my grades have never been higher since I've started college, actually) and I'm certainly not losing access to my internet connection or anything like that. I've just become completely disinterested with what goes on around here for quite some time, and it's time for me to move on. That's not to say that this community isn't great, but I've just come to a point where I want to spend my time doing other things because they seem more interesting to me than what I'm doing here. I really don't know if things like additional game updates would hold my interest at this point either given that I haven't had any interest in Guilds or PvP World Championship. Staff work just doesn't appeal to me anymore, and most of the people who made this community fun for me from the start have moved on with their lives or become significantly less active as of late.

I want to start focusing on more things that are going on in real life. There's a high chance that I'll be starting a 20 hour/week internship soon which is what I consider the start of me focusing more on my major rather than going through the same motions of attending classes every day before coming back home. Marriage has also been on my mind a lot more these days to the point where I experience a sense of longing every time I see a couple alongside their children. We'd originally agreed to hold off on worrying about getting married until college was over and done with for the two of us, but I just don't think I'll be able to wait that long.

Looking back it's probably going to be a bit sad to think of leaving this community when I consider the amount of time that I've spent with it, but I think it's probably better for me to want to leave than to feel as if I'm being forced out because of real life issues. I've met a lot of awesome people since I joined...how many years ago? 2? 3? It's been so long that I really can't remember without looking it up. And I know that this community will continue to thrive because of the efforts that those people have put into making this community a better place for everyone.

My one regret will be leaving my Master's title without having the title taken from me by someone else like I had intended to from the beginning, but I'm confident that someone else will rise up who will surpass me as a Master and as a General. Actually I've heard a rumor of someone's interest who I would really like to see as a General in my place. Maybe a certain Master could give them a bit of a nudge in Life's direction. With my luck the next update will be when zanz finally decides to give Life something that makes it more competitive, but oh well.

As sort of a parting gift, I'm going to dump off all of the decks I've stored on this random .txt file of mine. Even I don't know the purpose behind half of these decks since they were built so long ago, and some of them may be modifications of someone else's deck that I was testing:
