I'm sad, just as everyone else is.
Brawl was a great time with you Furbs, the whole reason "Lt" is part of my name in chat.
You'll be missed, whether you really failed at anything or not.

If you've failed, very few people have succeeded :F

You started off as a useless spammer. Yet, now when you quit, many notice, and most will care. This is a sign of your contributions, and your ability to improve. It is arguably more impressive to go from useless spammer to great contributor than to go from unknown person to great contributor.

When I quit, few will notice, and less will care. I do not pretend to aspire to be you, but you lost my respect and then earned it back. Normally when people lose my respect they stay there. I don't pretend that my respect means anything to you, but the same probably holds true for people better (and worse) than I. You will have made significantly more of a mark of the community than most people ever will.

Not only that, but OldTrees even said more than "You will be missed." on your Farewell thread =D

... *raises hand* Who will be in charge of the featured card polls/articles now? :/

furballdn...

You're anything BUT a failure.

I wish I could express my gratitude for everything that you've done for this community (including picking up the featured card poll project, as I've had to shed more responsibility) with something more than words, but I don't know if you'll see this in time. That being said, I had no idea you were leaving, and felt somewhat blinded since November rolled in.

If anything, game stagnancy does that; if a new patch comes back, I hope that you (and many others) will return once more, but until then, stay safe, breathe, and know that many members will miss you for all the work that you've done.

(P.S. - blame me, not yourself. My disillusionment nowadays seems to rub off onto other people more than I wish. :( )

Suddenly, we're on 1.52 or something by the time he returns.

Yo. Dawg.

You didn't fail.

You just didn't notice your sucesses. As in all these wonderful members you helped.
Plus all those other things you did that I didn't notice either, but I digress. I never notice much of anything.

Point is. You've been a good, integral part of this community which still needs you. So take some time off, sure, take a year off. Consider coming back after that.

I have thought of you as a useless spammer for most of my time on the forum.  It seemed that after your obsession with SoFrepi you made more and more useful posts, and I was impressed by your run at Fire master among other things.  I would not have been sad to see the old furball go.  I am sad that this one is going.

Wow. I'm stunned. As the forum member with the second-highest post count (and perhaps the second highest IQ), I am truly disappointed to see you go. Your always logical arguments and your great skill in all areas of Elements will be missed dearly. Good luck with wherever you're going, and we hope to see you again sometime with even more wonderful ideas (which hopefully come to fruition). Goodbye, furballdn...

And so, as the topic was locked, all physical memory of furballdn was shoved to the annals of the forum, as newer members joyously posted their thoughts (both insightful and trollish) on a variety of threads. But no one shall surpass (at least in the near future) the respect and greatness held by furballdn in the Elements Community. Amen.

Unless of course he has turned Nov. 20th in to November Fool's Day. That would indeed be trollish.

Failures? I disagree with that.

You've been, and hope you still will be, a great part of this community. Even if i don't really know you all that much, i know this. At first i saw you just as a spamming troll, i will admit, but as time passed, you seemed to make greater and greater posts, and you've become one of us. In this big family.

Sometimes what you think are great card ideas arent the same for others. I know, I'Ve made a few and only one got through crucible, same as you.

I will admit i never go on the wiki myself, but I've been on kongregate lately, and people always link your tutorial. There are many tutorials out there, but yours is the one being linked.

You made it to the finals in fire trials. When, i would say everybody but in fact i dont know for others, for me, you were the '' least favorited '' , the least likely to make it through. yet you surprised in phase 2.

Everybody makes mistakes, me included, and sometimes looking down onto yourself seems like the right thing to do. But know that you did much more good than bad, and that if you are to leave, you will be missed.

And you know, there are still forum games, like that oh-so-amazing F&H :silly:

Ofcourse, i cannot decide for you, and if you've made your mind on leaving then so be it, but make sure to come back someday. Whether it be in 2 months or in a year. People will still know your name, because you left a mark in this community.

I don't mind that attempted coup d'etat.

You will be missed both for your insight and your ideas.
Especially Stolas, Tumult and Gram
