Would the alaska deck be counted as a kinda popular deck?

I have a big problem with e-peen threads like this one.

Elements has thousands of players and thousands of of people who design False God decks yet these handful of people are the only ones worthy to be in the poll? On which grounds were these particular decks chosen to this poll? Why were many older, but proven, decks left out?

This is not how you do science. Thread starter would have had a bit more credibility if his own deck wasn't on the top of the list. And frankly I don't like seeing my name there twice, someone might think I had something to do with the making of this poll.

Instead of who made a deck we should concentrate more on what kind of decks people use because most players use these decks only as a base on which they build their own decks. When the deck is ready, it's usually very different from the original.

Agreed. I know that's what I did before the dial nerf. Heck, almost every deck you listed is a variation of some other rainbow, which are variations of another, etc etc.

Oh and "my" deck is winning out of the named decks. *e-peen grows an inch*

Instead, I would make them into these categories:
Small rainbow (35-) with low quantum towers that relies on supernovas. Usually uses SoGs. Entropy mark.
Semi Small rainbow (36-43 ish) with no dials, has adequate towers and novas. Can use a variety of healing. Entropy mark.
Semi Small rainbow (36-43 ish) with dials, has adequate towers and novas. Usually uses bonds. Entropy mark.
Large rainbow (44+) with/without dials, relies on stalling to get combos. Has lots of drawing power. Can use a variety of healing. Usually Time mark.
Other (Specify in topic)

hm.. this sounds like good idea.. i'll let this poll run for a couple more days and then may be switch the question :)

Also, SG, most people DO NOT run the older decks, and I included all of the major decks in the Anti-FG section of the forum :) Yes, it includes my deck, but that's because it HAS been heavily commented on (148 replies) which I think makes it as noteworthy as the other decks I posted.

You are doing sloppy science again :)

If I were to make a thread like this (which would never happen), I would include your deck, but not because of the amazing 149 replies. If you remove the top-3 most active posters on that thread, the number goes from 149 down to 55. In fact you yourself have 61 replies in that thread, which makes up almost half the posts. Number of replies or view count is not always the best tool in finding out what the most popular deck is.

What PuppyChow suggests there makes a lot more sense, gives us a lot more information and is not designed to be a personal ego boost like this thread is.  :)

I'm not saying it's not a popular thread. It clearly is. I'm just saying numbers can be deceiving. We have to look for the reason behind the numbers before we can make any conclusions.

Actually the thing I like most about your thread is that you very actively take part in discussions and give "support" so to say. That's something all thread starters should do. We too often start a deck idea thread and then disappear.

P.s. if you add more decks in the poll, make the poll so that people can change their votes.
