Quints are unneccesary against Hermes (I've never lost with Phase-PUs, no Quints), and I'd rather power 6 purifies with my mark than going for the setup you propose. Care to explain those choices? A w e s o m e  post otherwise.

TBH, Falcon, you'll have to look in the List&Links thread -- the one I linked to at the top of my post -- for the specific decks and strategies that they're intended to work with.  I'll probably work them into the OP at some point in the future, but for now I don't have time, so you'll have to do your own research. :)
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

I admit failing about Morte, that build may probably better than what I was using, but Hermes' deck doesn't need the Quints, as it profits more from having extra towers (by the time you PU a Golem, nothing should be able to take it down). You are only going to use them for Decay, so I'd postpone that buy.

I believe you -- but all the same, I'll stick with what majofa has listed currently; he's kind of the unofficial Keeper of the List.  Post on the Hermes thread and maybe he'll change it. :)

For the second deck with purifies... shouldn't it also be able to beat Scorpio?

I've read the whole post and I get most of it, but doesn't this surpass the limit of cards you can have in a deck, or are you supposed to have different decks (disassemble an assemble)?

add the/some of base (mono aether) to any of the other cards and you'll have a pretty decent chance of winning against those certain types of FGs.
lava golems are the best creatures in the game cause I said so

WaterKnight, if you go and follow the link at the top of the OP, you'll find a thread that has the exact decks that the community has developed to beat each of the FGs the most reliably.  This thread is basically a breakdown of the decks in that thread and how to buy them in order to maximize your chance of winning upgraded cards ASAP.

I really like this thread; doing a breakdown of the unupped FG decks that apply to multiple FGs as a resource is excellent. For future additions, I would suggest including the following on this thread:

1)  the unupped one-FG silver bullet decks (Vulture/Thunderbolt for Eternal Phoenix, Azure Dragon/Wings/Precog for Serket, etc.)

2)  the Liquid Antimatter deck--what FGs does this deck work best against?

Again, good job!

Way ahead of you, primary. :)  I just updated the OP because I forgot about Jezebel, and added the Liquid Antimatter decks in the 2nd post.  The 3rd will be all of the decks that are half-unique, and the 4th post will be all of the completely one-off decks, hopefully in order of how easy it is to win a card from a particular FG. :)
