Nice to see we finally got our buff for Neptune at least.
Are you referring to the vote or was there an actual change?
It is the greatest mystery of all...

22nd Week: Obliterator

Description:

This god combines the lethality and protection of earth creatures with the frustration of Momentum, Permanent Control and Creature control. His strategy is simple: obliterate anything or anyone standing in his way; man, machine or permanent. He will usually open up by playing lots of pillars and then a Pulveriser, then protect it with Enchant Artifact (EA) which will plummel you if you have a deck that relies on it's permanents. He also has a large number of highly powerful and/or endurable creatures, I.E. the shriekers and dragons. Any creatures you do bring in will be Gravity Pulled and killed by his sheer power, or you could even deck out since he has the highest physical damage resisting shield in the Game, Diamond Shield and he also has Gravity Pulls that can stall you by making you hit towards his dragons.

Counter Cards:

Liquid Shadow
Effect: The target creature is poisoned and gains the vampire ability. Previous skills are removed.

Combined with Antimatter, just 2 on his Basalt Dragons is guaranteed to kill him without doing anything else.

Antimatter/Improved Antimatter
Effect: Invert the attack power of the target creature (the creature inflict heals instead of damage).

His deck is full of walking high hitters, so this is the ideal card for them combined with his buffs of unstoppables.

Oblit is quite balanced, and strong in a way you'd expect an FG to be: brutally. I've always liked his theme and deck.

Obliterator? Nay. He has momentum, pulverizers, and gravity forces for control. Combine that with protected diamond shield and protected pulvy, and he dominates the field. His fast stream of lightning bruisers that all have 10 attack quickly wipe the floor with somebody who's not prepared.

Gah I forgot to update this thing... my apologies to all for this thread's hiatus (I will try to get this weekly again). I also apologize for the necro

23rd Week: Octane

Description

Code: [Select]
7dk 7dk 7dl 7dm 7dm 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7ms 7n2 7n2 7n2 7n2 7n5 7n5 7n5 7n5 7n5 7n6 7n6 7n6 7n6 7n6 7n6
Of all the Fake Gods he is the only one who uses the high damage one-shot-use Unstable Gases. He has plenty of creature control with the Unstable Gases, Eagle Eyes, Fire Bolts, and Fire Shields. His strategy is to gas you out of the game, and if 12 gases isn't enough to finish you he has Eagle Eyes with Animate Weapons, and Fire Bolts to kill you from a sense of security.

Counter Cards:

Quintessence
Effect: Grant immortality to the target creature. The target creature can not be targeted

If you rely on creatures against him with no quints, you will definitely die easily.

Antimatter/Improved Antimatter
Effect: Invert the attack power of the target creature (the creature inflict heals instead of damage).

Even if you cancel out his Unstable Gases, he has enough Owl Eye/Eagle Eye to pierce through you with ease if you have no healing. Each Antimatter/Improved Antimatter cancels out another Owl Eye/Eagle Eye and may even heal you some depending on your shield.

Emerald Shield/Jade Shield
Effect: Shield: reduce damage by 1/2. Spells are reflected against your opponent. Can not be destroyed or stolen.

With this, all his Unstable Gases are useless and are merely for decoration on his Permanent Control field.

Reflective Shield/Mirror Shield
Effect: Shield: any spell that hits you is reflected against your opponent. Can not be destroyed or stolen./ Shield: reduce damage by 0/1. Spells that hits you is reflected against your opponent. Can not be destroyed or stolen.

With this, all his Unstable Gases are useless and are merely for decoration on his Permanent Control field.

I think octane is pretty powerful.  He has permanent and creature control and I usually have trouble against him.  He does have his weaknesses though so he is balanced.

While Octane crumbles with the cards TheForbiddenOracle mentioned, he still does a decent job at making decks without those cards sweat. All in all, burning through (see what I did there  :P) his deck looking for gases is about the best strategy he has, and the deck reflects that. I would say buff him but I don't know how other than going and buffing the cards themselves, since increases to his deck size only hurts him.

24th Week: Osiris

Description:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
74a 74a 74h 74h 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q0 7q3 7q4 7q4 7q8 7qb 7qb 7qc 7qc 7qc 7qc 7qc 7qc

Osiris uses Pharaohs to generate a swarm of scarabs with 20+ HP to overwhelm any creature the opponent plays. The deck starts slow, but if it is allowed to swarm with no shield. With their swarm ability, they will be able to eat nearly any mortal creature you can dish out at them. Once the entire field is filled with scarabs, the scarabs start eating 7~8 pharaohs on the field, or even themselves in order to break through shields. He has several cards to slow the opponent down, including Turtle Shields, Rewinds, and Eternity. He uses Unstoppables and Trebuchets to rip through shields.

Counter Cards:

Lobomizer/Electrocuter
Effect:  :aether :aether: remove any skill from the target creature.

Stops the spam before it even starts, though sometimes he does play multiple Pharaohs

Pulverizer
Effect:  :gravity :gravity  : shatter the target permanent.

His Trebuchets will run amok if allowed to be activated late game, and the other permanents are plain annoying

Gravity Shield
Effect: Shield: any creature that has more than 5 HP’s is unable to reach you

With the growing hp of the Scarabs as they increase, their attacks won't be able to get through without momentum
Results:
Nerf: 1
Buff: 4
Osiris is fine the way he is: 10
