I have tested some Voodoo decks already, and I think none is reliable. Lots of bad match ups, and lots of losses vs the good match ups.
But they are. Stats have been taken, and people have made ridiculous amounts of electrum with them (third highest FGei in the FG decktesting topic (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,25609.0.html)). Your sample size is way too small just yet.

Dunno how GotP Time has like 50% win rate vs this, never tested it, but anyway, looks like people want this hard, lol.
AI priority. As long as you can bait her Explosions with other perms, your Phase Shields are safe. This only works if draws aren't crap, of course.

But yeah, she's fine being semi-hard, imo. In the face of FG's like Graviton and Hermes, I can't see a good reason to nerf DG. x)

In an old poll, almost everyone considered DG to be a female.
Oh, then, that's ok.

Glória (Portuguese form of Glory) is a female name, so I guess it could be female. :P
hehe, I know, since I'm brazilian, but in english it doesn't sound feminine, imo. I can see some titan coming from a mountain and saying "I AM THE DIVINE GLORY! FEAR ME OR DIE", not a lady. Oh well...  :P

And, On-Topic: to defeat DG, Rol/Hope or No Hope! But you NEED the RoLs, at least, or make some magic with Luciferins.

7th Week: Dream Catcher

Code: [Select]
6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6ts 6tu 6tu 6tu 6tu 6tu 6tu 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u3 6u5 6u5 6u8 6u8 6u8 6ug 74f 77i 77j 7dr 7gl 7gn 7n7 7n7 7q1 7q2 7t6 7t6 80a 80h
Dream Catcher uses supernovas to utilize vast array of spells and creatures. The main focus of the deck is not damage, but complete control as he has Creature Control, Permanent Control, and Quanta Control. He normally takes out a Minor Abomination with Destroy (Butterfly Effect) in turn 2, and starts bombing his opponent’s permanents. He then uses his creature controls to either shut down or antimatter enemy creatures, and stops quanta production with Discords and Black Holes/Pests and Quicksands.

Counter Cards:

Lobomizer/Electrocuter
Effect: Weapon: deal 5 damages at the end of every turn. :aether :aether / :aether remove any skill from the target creature.

Stops his BE, Nymphs, Physilias, and Fate eggs before they destroy you

Otyugh/Elite Otyugh
Effect: Devour:  :gravity Swallow a smaller (less HP’s) creature and gain +1/+1

Elite Otyugh can eat every creature he has, and even the Unupgraded Otyugh can feast on Eggs, Dejavus, Nymphs, and Physilia

Emerald Shield/Jade Shield
Effect: Shield: reduce damage by 2. Spells are reflected against your opponent. Can not be destroyed or stolen.

This card guarentees to block almost all the damage. The only damage that can get through Jade is the Purple Nymphs and Discord (Not counting Fate Eggs).

Mind Flayer/Ulithard

Effect: Psionic Wave: :aether  Remove any skill from the target

Results:
Nerf: 10
Buff: 2
Leave Dream Catcher be: 13

Physalia poison quite often adds up.

Dream Catcher is definitely one of the hardest FG's. Every time you fight him, you might think you have a chance until all his denial and PC hits in one or few turns. It's quite astounding how well balanced his deck is considering it looks really random. I don't see a good way to nerf him though, apart from removing Physalia. That would make him easier to counter without lowering power much. Not convinced he needs the nerf though; he's kinda fun.

^Agreed, keep him the way he is. There's no point in nerfing him anyway: IMO you would usually want to nerf a FG to make it easier to beat (and win cards), but from a farming standpoint DC is the worst to farm because of such a low drop rate (EDIT: Though I did win a Micro Abomination from him once, which was weird). The way I see it DC only exists for people who want to beat him as a challenge.

Would be interesting to stick Mitosis in there.

Otherwise, no change IMO.

I think Dream Catcher should have Nightmares ::). I'd take Quintessence out from it, all that does is make this FG annoying i.e. less fun to play against.

I voted nerf. The main option to nerf, I say, is to remove one of BEs from the base deck. FGs with unlimited PC are annoying, of course its the main idea of this one, but so I would add a little more chance to him not drawing BE by doing that. He has BEed Micro Abomination on 2nd turn pretty frequently.

He was in my top 3 list of FGs I hate the most, with Hermes and Rainbow, but looks like Jezebel got his place :P

8th Week: Elidnis

Description:
Code: [Select]
7ah 7ah 7ah 7ah 7ah 7ah 7ai 7ai 7ak 7al 7am 7am 7am 7am 7am 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gk 7gm 7gm 7gm 7gn 7gn 7gn 7gn 7gn 7gu 7gu 7gu 7gv 7gv 7gv 808 808 808 808 808 808 808 80b 80b 80b 80b 80b 80f 80f 80f 80h 80h
This Fake God uses her Spectres (which she usually plays on the second turn) and grows them into huge creatures, and Twin Universe spams to have an army of huge creatures against you (She usually spams when 1 Spectre is 10/11). She also uses the :water quanta to play Congeals to stall, Ulithards to remove anything that could threaten her, and Puffer Fish for poison damage. She has plenty of Feral Bonds to heal herself with her mass spawn of creatures, and even some Heals. However, the only controls she has is CC, meaning you can stall her with all Sundials and Dim Shields as you can. Also, while she has CC, she has no way of killing any if your creatures.

Counter Cards:

Lobomizer/Electrocuter
Effect:  :aether :aether/ :aether remove any skill from the target creature.

Stops her Spectres from growing and Pufferfish from infecting.

Dimensional Shield/Phase Shield
Effect: Shield: shift out of phase for 3 turns. Physical attacks are unable to hit you while this is in play.

She can't do squat about this shield, so it'll stop attacks from coming in for a LONG time.

Owl's Eye/Eagle's Eye
Effect: :air :air: deal 3 damages to the target creature.

Takes out her spectres in one shot before it grows, and it's reusable so it can take out the freshly played Spectres as well.

Pulverizer
Effect:  :gravity :gravity/ :gravity shatter the target permanent.

One of the only 2 ways to clear out all the Bonds.

Elite Otyugh (Huge emphasis on upgraded)
Effect: :gravity: Devour: Swallow a smaller (less HP’s) creature and gain +1/+1

Eats Ulithards and fresh Spectres and soon Crawlers and Puffer Fishes

Eternity
Effect: :time :time :time: Put a creature back in its owner’s deck.

No matter how much growing Elidnis puts on a spectre, it's all for naught with one hit from this.
Results:
Nerf: 1
Buff: 13
Stay the same: 10

I feel like this baby needs a lil' buff, but I'm not sure how to do that. In theory the Aether part of her deck adds a lot of potential power and makes it less countered by Lobo, but in practise it rarely plays out. The CC is pretty dead, so I guess one way to fix her would be to change mark to Water, some Life Towers to Pends, remove all the Water cards, add another Bond and Mitosis for the Spectres. Unfortunately, AI would still suck with Quint.

She does benefit from the Poison of Puffers, and sometimes from Ulis. Since Quints rarely go on the right creature, an even better way to fix her would be to change mark to Water, remove TU's and Phase Dragons, add more Quints and some Aether pends.

Yeah Higs pretty much summed up everything I was thinking about buffing Elidnis.  The cards she has combined with how the quanta for them is produced just makes her deck awkward.  Buff I say.
