Nerf or Buff? Featured FG: Serket

Before I would have easily said buff, but with the upcoming flooding buff I'm not entirely as sure. For now I still say buff though.

I say buff by adding SoP; it would make neptune a much more formidable opponent.

FGs can't have Shards in their decks (unless Zanz changes that too). At the very least though, Neptune could use the removal of Poseidon (basically useless) and more Towers. He's almost always quanta starved.

I thought the 'FGs may have no shards' rule was specifically for SoG (and maybe SoD), and that none of the FGs that were made after needed them. Now that they're being changed for 1.29, It shouldn't be as much of a problem. SoP would make much use of all those Inundations.

I definitely agree Neptune needs a buff.  He also doesn't need 8 inundations; I didn't even realize he had so many, because it's a card that almost never gets played.  (he doesn't play it unless it will actually do something to you)  I haven't ever noticed neptune being quanta-starved; on the contrary, he seems when I play him to never have anything to do with his quanta, especially the air quanta.  I'd think about adding some Ice Lances and some more Air cards, though I'm not sure which ones would make thematic sense.

I didn't know the Shards rule allowed non-SoG Shards...in that case then SoP all the way for Neptune.

dragons@ the problem probably isn't so much quanta starvation is the fact that he's too slow to get his quanta out. He almost always has 2-3 towers in his opening hand, and it takes a while for him to build up enough to get all his creatures out. By that time I've usually locked him down.

And more ways to spend all that excess quanta would be great. Maybe some more EEs?

The 'no shards' guideline only applied to SoG and SoD, but only because all the FGs since 1.21 (SoR was released in 1.23) were created mostly by players. It's generally accepted that FGs shouldn't have shards.

He ownes RoL/Hope with the new inundation buff. you cant put up 13 RoLs to block his dragons (5 would be almost good for 6 atk crawlers...)
