Lol with how long that game is I'm sure he did. I'm just surprised he drew no PA's :P.

He played 1 when he was down to like 150, and only other cards he played the entire game were brimstone eater and two explosions. I guess the best way to counter Hermes is sheer power of luck. ::) I guess I'm on a roll today because I EMed rainbow earlier today too, where he also got screwed with bad hands and got locked down by my eternity.

Lol I was playing Morte with a fairly typical CCYB deck but with my freshly gotten air nymph included, and this is the result :D. Fractal condors+his side full of mal cells/skeletons + unstable gases ftw!

No SS again  :-[
Oracle shows me an elf, and tells me I've got chaos lord up next and ?? pet. I decide to use my normal FG killer, and it's a good thing I did- the pet was an amber nymph! I drained him a few times early on, and pulled my quint just after he played a druid (win!), then played my permafrost (and waited until his druid froze), then my FFQ (which got frozen this time) and then an oty... after he mutated a RoL into a scavenger gnome rider that was a little bigger than my oty :[ However! I pull my PA and have enough quanta to play my eternity... next turn, no more gnome rider :] My fire storm was in my bottom 8, so I was faced with ~6 RoLs and a bonewall in hand, waiting for the storm so I could play my bonewall safely (and other quint was the bottom card) I managed to get a rewound parasite (formerly 1|2 with dive), a rewound red nymph (sooooo fun, was a 1|7 or so scavenger), a mutant doll with momentum (something like 2|20 or so), and a steam machine with devour (yay, relief from :gravity stress, was 1|10) My queen didn't even get mutated this time :))

Lol I just played ferox with ccyb and didnt draw a single lava destroyer the entire game, down to my last 4 cards. Fortunately, I did draw my air nymph and was lucky enough that he never played a jade shield :D. He kept drawing bonds which is why my fractal frogs didnt kill him, since he was able to heal the damage heh. But yeah :P.

Edit: Note the 2 quints on his creatures were used so that I could get a full 8 frogs since I had 2 quints in my hand at the time of the fractal.

Yeah I did just kill Octane with unstable gases. Perfect damage line up for EM too :D

I didn't destroy a single one of his gases; I must've soaked up damage from at least 7 of them before getting my jade shield out. Luckily I had 4 SoGs in my starting hand and he didn't play any Eagle's Eyes for 10ish turns o_o. He depressingly exploded my first Pulverizer though :|.

Coincidentally, I won an unstable gas in the spin.

FQ having every single queen frozen the second she layed them down, perfect setup. She never drew an EE or a farhenheit so conclusion? Oty > FQ i also played a mirror shield to get that EM :). This was played with a modded CCYB.

Just a minor note, but 99% of the time you don't need to lobo the Demons.  Not doing so should save you some :aether when you need it, not to mention shaving off a few seconds per game.

Instead, I suggest you to micromanage your lobotomizing: AI will direct its boosts at the best critter on its side. However, the "best" creature is not the highest hitter but the critter with the best skill and/or atk/hp (I haven't quite figured how this works, but I find that it's pretty safe to assume that the AI will prefer a creature with an ability unless the highest hitter has 10 atk points more). This way you can decide which demon gets chaos powered, thus blocking more damage with your hope.

Needless to say, you HAVE TO lobotomize AI's fallen druids if you don't want to get into trouble.

Example:
Your Hope is blocking 11 damage, so you should let the alpha-demon grow until it gets close to that number and then lobo it (don't lobo any other demon). This way, the AI will target another demon, wasting the spell on a creature that will not be able to bypass your defenses.
