I recently had an easy win against chaos lord, because he made the exact same mistake I did when supernova got changed so you should not play more than one per turn. It ought to be not too difficult for chaos lord to be changed into NOT playing a second one on the same turn and avoid the bad side effects wich are almost never worth it (only if it ensured a one turn kill or you had a mutation or other sacrifice ability for your flux would it be worth it)
