Wait, only some of the user-posted decks on the Wiki are going to be published? And they'll be randomly selected? I thought this thread is going to be for the hardest builds only...
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

We are beta-testing first so I don't think randomly selecting is a big deal at this moment. Later we should of course have a better system.

I re-thought scoring...

I really feel that each False God should NOT give more than 3 scores (gold, silver, bronze). If they all scored 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8,.. etc. it would be an absolute NIGHTMARE to keep the score. Also it would create a system where the player with the most time would always win. All you needed to do was to copy other players' decks and grind your ass off. You would easily win without taking any "gold". Just play more than others and take a bunch of 3rd, 4th and 5th places.

With only 3 x 10 = 30 scores available, player skill would be in a more important role.

This is what I propose.

    1st False God = 4 points, 2 points, 1 point2nd False God = 5 points, 3 points, 2 point3rd False God = 6 points, 3 points, 2 points4th False God = 7 points, 4 points, 2 points5th False God = 8 points, 4 points, 2 points6th False God = 9 points, 5 points, 3 points7th False God = 10 points, 5 points, 3 points8th False God = 11 points, 6 points, 3 points9th False God = 12 points, 6 points, 3 points10th False God = 13 points, 7 points, 4 points
We have the 4 to 13 "gold score" that Chriskang proposed earlier. Silver would be 50% of gold, and bronze would be 50% of silver. This kind of system would really reward the first person who kills the God (the most important aspect of this kind of challenge imo) but also the 2nd and 3rd player would get something.

Maybe it's a good idea when te player who beats the FG post his/her winning screen and Deck per pm to Scaredgirl od Chriskang. So nobody else can see or copy the winning deck and have to try it themmselve. SG an CK then only have to post that he beat the FG and he proved this.

That sounds too complicated. Too much posting and PM'ing. Not to mention the fact that me and Chriskang can cheat if we see the decks and others don't. :)

Also the problem with posting the screenshot is that you can most likely guess from the screenshot what deck the guy was using. So even though the deck was not posted, everyone will copy the guy.

Like I said before, one option could be that you cannot use the same MARK as the first guy used. For example if I defeat the first God and post a screenshot as proof, other players can steal my ideas BUT they cannot use the mark shown in my screenshot.

After a specific God has been defeated twice, two of the marks have been "used" and there are only 9 left.

What do you guys think?

SG, would you agree to have 2 different sets of rules: one for the closed championship and another for the fun challenge?

The closed championship would be highly competitive with a score table that gives a strong reward to the first killer and prevents the others to use the same deck, just like you said.

The fun challenge would be much more casual friendly with many players rewarded and no deck restriction. Don't worry about the "nightmarish" part. I'll do it.

Sounds good. Biggest grinders and "no-lifers" will win for sure but since this is a casual and open challenge, it's not a big deal. Lets just hope you don't go crazy updating those scores. :)

Btw is the any chance of  starting this challenge on Friday? More people play during weekends so we might get more players involved.

If you want to make it publicly available, post it in the wiki.
Instructions on how to do it are given at the bottom of the Excel sheet:
http://chriskang.free.fr/trainer/FG.xls (http://chriskang.free.fr/trainer/FG.xls)

If you're talking about a secret deck for the closed championship, you can PM it to me.
In case I wasn't clear enough in this thread:
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,872.msg8824#msg8824 (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,872.msg8824#msg8824)
the challenge that takes place this sunday is NOT a closed championship. You don't need to provide a secret deck to enter.
If you do, I'll keep your deck secret until the real competition begins.
