PROS: Right now this is a mono deck, which means you could probably EASILY splash in another element to get what you need access to. Has really good control, and decent combo. Any sort of aggro and it'd be dominating.
CONS: Nothing in your deck has attack power. If you lose board control you lose.
Your main strat is to put gravity pull on a shard and cower behind it while titan does peanuts damage for 30 turns.
Shard of Focus is actually super broken. Chain permanent control for 0 is hilarious, especially since it heals for 15 every time you do it. Be smart about which permanents you go for. Weapon damage isn't soaked by gravity pull, and a lot of them will screw over your creatures, so they're priority 1. After that, take out any shields that damage your dudes. This includes freezing them. You can leave stuff like Earth, Air, and Darkness shields, you don't do damage anyway. Instead, focus down their pillars, go for one element at a time, and pick one that doesn't match their mark. Try to recognize which elements don't matter. Like, against the one with the scorpions, just blast nightfall immediately and his death quanta actually doesn't help him.
As a general rule, you wanna focus the eatery onto one otyugh, although PU gods are gonna give you trouble. Also, given the choice between feeding your main man or keeping their damage below 15, always choose to shut down the deeps. Don't be afraid to use gravity pull as spot removal if you need to.
If they're using poisonous creatures, use one oty to gobble them up, and then sacrifice him to the big one. Your poisoned Oty can eat 3 forest scorpions, and 2 of any other poisonous creatures before dying. Be sure to pour one out for him.
You can operate the deck with one gravity pulled shard and one otyugh, meaning even if you have 0 pillars you're okay. Mark will give you what you need to gobble. Be careful against seism anyway, cause going pillarless sucks super hard. Splitting towers and pendulums helps a bit versus that too.
If you're up against painbow, actually turn your shards into black holes. Otherwise, catapult those guys for the final blow. 3 catapults might be too many, you could probably manage with two.
Primarily this deck loses because:
1. Their deck was so fast you couldn't establish board control
2. They run creatures otyugh cannot kill
3. They get turn one lobo or some shit
4. You got a bad hand and the deck has no draw power
You could try running one accelerate in there, but I don't like the idea of silencing my own creatures, especially given the nature of the deck.
What would DEFINITELY help would be to beef up the damage. I ran it with dragons and it actually worked okay, so maybe take out some otyugh's and put a couple in. You really only need 3 in order to devour their board. Or, if you can figure out how to splash in time, running Pharaoh over Otyugh would probably be immensely successful.
Uhh, oh, there's no way you can ever, EVER, beat the dude who flys his light weapons. Screw that guy. Honestly.
Good lord I don't remember the name of ANYTHING in this game.
I know a fully upgraded deck with 6 shards is a bit ridiculous, but if it gets to the point of not being complete garbage, maybe you can cut some of the upgrades. Shards are mandatory though. How do you get those?
