Let's try another approach then:
What changes do you suggest to make the game "balanced enough" so that we don't have to ban any card?

I can easily change the casting cost and skill cost of all the cards in the game.
Changing a skill effect is much harder but might be possible too. Just tell me your ideas and I'll check if it's feasible or not.

For QT, an quick & dirty solution could be to make it generate only 2 quantums instead of 3, for example.
Like I said, I don't know.

Any kind of card banning is bad in my opinion because it limits your options and we already don't have enough card. On the other hand I feel that standard anti-False God rainbow is way too powerful and goes against the whole idea of this challenge.

I think if we look at what the real problem is, only one word comes to my mind.

Sundial.

When I joined this game rainbow decks were not considered to be overpowered although they had been in the game from the start. It's only this synergy between Quantum Towers and Sundials that makes rainbow deck insanely powerful.

Sundial is the number one stalling card that any deck can use because of zero cost (no other powerful card in the game has zero cost). I think something must be done about Sundial and there are two options:

1. Ban Sundial
This is not a good idea because like I said we need all the cards we can get to have more options and to make the challenge more interesting.

2. Nerf Sundial
I'm not talking about upping the cost by 1 quantum. I'm talking about a HUGE nerf, something like making upgraded version cost 4 quantum and non-upgraded 6. This would ensure that no deck can use only the mark to pay for it and all decks that use Sundial need both Light and Time Quantum to use it effectively.

Now I have no idea how this kind of nerf would play out but it's the most logical solution I can come up with.

No, you're not alone SG, my opinion (and I guess Yoyobros) is nearly the same. As you see (if you read it), my suggestion above contains the weaker gods, and you can't use QT and Novas against them. I don't care if my idea won't come reality, but I also have the opinion that rainbow decks should be somehow banned. But my only problem is that if we ban QTs, we will lose a lot of players... They love tweaking the "standard" FG deck, and the win against these very strog FGs is a big challenge for them, even with Rainbow deck. I think that we should find some "golden way", so the challenge would be creative and hard enough for us, for pros, but interesting for the semi pros... My idea is something like this, but a bit complicated so we have to find something what is more simple.
Yes, my opinion is the same. Thanks Kiszol :)

Yes... maybe a sundial nerf is what we really need... I think that, more thank QTs, ALMOST every deck (even mine), rainbow or not, "need" sundial to win. SG's suggestion, in my opinion, should be taken in serious consideration.

JFF Part 2 is now over.
So, can someone give me a complete list of all the environment effects before I publish them to my site?
Also do you have an idea of where the Gods' names come from?

Names? Hmm...

Everyone knows Big Bang. Tardis is that time-machine in Doctor Who, the Time And Relative Dimensions In Space (TARDIS). Betelgeuse is the name of some star. Chthonian is Greek for underworld. Those are all I know.

I think I've heard of Xerxes from somewhere, but I don't remember...
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

The movie 300 maybe? I watched that movie the day before the Challenge. That's why I had an edge against Xerxes. :)

Darude is a relatively popular Finnish musician who plays electronic music.

Zu have a song named Chthonian (with King Buzzo guesting), but I somehow doubt that's where you took the name from. More likely would be either Greek or Chtulu mythology.
Rodgort seems to have something to do with Guild Wars, according to google. Betelgeuse is in the vicinity of Zaphod and Ford's home.
Kerrigan might be Starcraft related. Opus is Latin for work, could refer to lots of things. I think BS and SG covered the others.

Betelgeuse is a star in the Orion constthingy, and its name means "Giant's Arm" or so.

Xerxes was a PERSIAAAAAAAAAAN king. He won against Leonidas, for Leonidas had just 300 SPARTAAAAAAAAAANS and Xerhes has an army.

Darude is person who made Sandstorm.
