Let's try another approach then:
What changes do you suggest to make the game "balanced enough" so that we don't have to ban any card?
I can easily change the casting cost and skill cost of all the cards in the game.
Changing a skill effect is much harder but might be possible too. Just tell me your ideas and I'll check if it's feasible or not.
For QT, an quick & dirty solution could be to make it generate only 2 quantums instead of 3, for example.
Like I said, I don't know.
Any kind of card banning is bad in my opinion because it limits your options and we already don't have enough card. On the other hand I feel that standard anti-False God rainbow is way too powerful and goes against the whole idea of this challenge.
I think if we look at what the
real problem is, only one word comes to my mind.
Sundial. When I joined this game rainbow decks were not considered to be overpowered although they had been in the game from the start. It's only this synergy between Quantum Towers and Sundials that makes rainbow deck insanely powerful.
Sundial is the number one stalling card that
any deck can use because of zero cost (no other powerful card in the game has zero cost). I think something must be done about Sundial and there are two options:
1. Ban SundialThis is not a good idea because like I said we need all the cards we can get to have more options and to make the challenge more interesting.
2. Nerf SundialI'm not talking about upping the cost by 1 quantum. I'm talking about a HUGE nerf, something like making upgraded version cost 4 quantum and non-upgraded 6. This would ensure that no deck can use only the mark to pay for it and all decks that use Sundial need both Light and Time Quantum to use it effectively.
Now I have no idea how this kind of nerf would play out but it's the most logical solution I can come up with.
