Maybe it sounds a bit difficult..
Lol, you think? :)

I like simple things and you suggestion, while might be interesting, is not simple. The more complex our system will be, the less players we will have.

As for this problem with everyone playing the standard rainbow deck, the solution is simple: Chriskang removes Quantum Towers from the trainer. This is something I think should have been done in the first place. With rainbow decks it's not about deck building, it's just maybe slightly tweaking you deck and then just kept trying again and again until you get that perfect start and win. It's all about luck and anyone can do it.

With Quantum Towers gone, players are forced to really think how the can beat a God and what cards they should take.

I disagree with the Quantum Tower removal. Personally I would first use a standard rainbow deck to "test" the Gods a bit, see what their strengths, capabilities and weaknesses are. If I can't beat them with a rainbow deck, then I specialize.

If Quantum Towers are removed, then what do I test out the Gods with? The starter decks?
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

Um.. yeah? That's what I do.

When I fight these Gods I go fight them with the started deck. I will lose pretty quickly but it doesn't matter because in that time I can get a pretty good idea on what kind of deck/strategy that God is using. I then go and build my first real deck.

Why do you need Quantum Towers to "test out" new False Gods? Makes absolutely no sense.

And problem isn't players using Quantum Towers to "test out" False Gods. The problem is that players use a standard copy-paste Anti-False God and keep trying over and over again until they get a perfect start and can beat the God. That requires zero skill and that's not what this Challenge should be about imo.

I would recommend keeping QT.  If you want to ban Rainbow decks that's fine.  Should be pretty obvious from the screenshot if they played a Rainbow deck.  But if you get rid of QT than you can't use a mutation deck or a dissipation shield deck.  Granted neither are the best in many circumstances, but bobcamel did show that you can use QT effectively without going Rainbow.

Sure you can use Mutation deck, you still have Supernova. And you can still use Dissipation Shield, only it sucks big time. :)

And yes, you can use QT without going rainbow but the problem is that most people are using QT for standard False God rainbow. This will turn this Challenge into a race of whose identical rainbow gets the best opening hand first.

Maybe I'm the only one that has a problem with these identical anti-False God decks, I don't know. But I know that for me it totally ruins the whole idea of this Challenge and I won't participate if they are included (I know, a big loss, lol )

I'll have my own secret challenge without QT's. :)

No, you're not alone SG, my opinion (and I guess Yoyobros) is nearly the same. As you see (if you read it), my suggestion above contains the weaker gods, and you can't use QT and Novas against them. I don't care if my idea won't come reality, but I also have the opinion that rainbow decks should be somehow banned. But my only problem is that if we ban QTs, we will lose a lot of players... They love tweaking the "standard" FG deck, and the win against these very strog FGs is a big challenge for them, even with Rainbow deck. I think that we should find some "golden way", so the challenge would be creative and hard enough for us, for pros, but interesting for the semi pros... My idea is something like this, but a bit complicated so we have to find something what is more simple.

What if we say this for the championship:
1. PM me your God's deck
2. Tell me in which realm you want it to be
3. Give me the name of 5 cards that will be banned for players who fight against your God

5 cards is too much. What if I banned these:

- Purify
- Shard of Divinity
- Miracle
- Feral Bond
- Heal (not even needed really)

Then make a False God version of the popular speed poison deck.

Nobody would ever beat that.

Indeed.
What do you suggest then?
Let players forbid 2 cards? Or should I be the one to chose the forbidden cards before you start designing your decks?

I really don't know. Banning Purify and Shard of Divinity, then building a poison False God deck scares me the most. But maybe it can be beaten.. I don't know.

Let's try another approach then:
What changes do you suggest to make the game "balanced enough" so that we don't have to ban any card?

I can easily change the casting cost and skill cost of all the cards in the game.
Changing a skill effect is much harder but might be possible too. Just tell me your ideas and I'll check if it's feasible or not.

For QT, an quick & dirty solution could be to make it generate only 2 quantums instead of 3, for example.
