This bonus is kind of...not fair. It's like, whoever logs in first and spots the bonus wins, if they get every other god with the same deck as well. But then again, it's just a fun little competition to sidetrack us from the monotonous farming.

I must agree to that statement.
I also think it is kinda unfair for players who have totally different online times than essence.

I'd suggest a little change to the bonus god:
Anyone can beat it like all the normal FG's and get a point for doing so.
If you defeat it within a day in a random manner Essence points out, you get additional points depending on the difficulty.
IMO this would be much more fun^^

As for the random manner, that can be anything. That can go from easy going stuff like "EM it" or "Deckout" to nearly impossible stuff like "win with 1 HP", "win with exactly 0 Quanta" or even "win with the FG having more cards in his deck than he has in his deck :3 ".

Also, it would be nice having the random quest of defeating the FG announced at the beginning of the week, so one can build a deck that is actually able to beat the quest (like EM with exactly 123 HP needs stoneskin). Of course which FG it is will only be known the day it is announced.

OK.  I like that idea.  So, then, the Secret Bonus FG Quest for this week: defeat Size Matters with zero creatures on his field.

True. You have to admit that viruses breeding asexually with Mitosis is a touch of genius.

Actually, my degree is in Writing and English Language, but I've taken a wide variety of classes, and I'm a three-time Washington State Knowledge Bowl (basically school-age Jeopardy) Champion. 

I consider myself to be pretty well-educated, especially in the areas of nutrition, psychology, game theory, symbolic logic, comparative religion, Middle Eastern studies, and politics.  Just don't ask me about hard sciences.

It shouldn't be at all impossible for your deck.  You have Mindgate.

It's virtually impossible with Mal's deck. You basically have to have an early mindgated pharoah out on the field that manages to get enough scarabs out to eat all of his creatures. Good luck getting all the quanta for that. Or somehow clog his field with malignant cells. I've tried the past 90 minutes trying to beat him with my deck and mine is much better suited for this challenge and it fails epically

Firelight - This guy sucks. Skull shield filled his whole field full of skellies. For fun when i knew i had the game in hand i changed out shields.

Big Brother - Yawnfest, no damage in my deck so no danger.. only danger was falling asleep.

Lake Victoria - Skull shield killed off early creatures but TU LG's almost did me in at the end.

1338 - At first i thought i wouldn't be able to beat him. That is until the AI failed and decided to fractal my gnome riders. Sundials were extremely helpful here.

Primordial Soup - Had to beat him twice because the first time i forgot to SS. Ah well.. not too difficult.

Fire Princess - Not as hard as Firelight but i really needed a bad draw by her and a good draw by me. Early mindgate + adrenalined gnome + thorn shield FTW.
