I was wondering if there are still people interested in a championship?
As a reminder:
- When you register to the championship, you have to send me a PM with a deck idea (screenshot or wiki code).
- Once I have all the decks, I create a trainer room with your Gods in it.
- The championship starts: you have to defeat other player's Gods before they kill yours.

This championship would probably be mid-december.

I want to know if this project worth the effort so please reply to this thread if you're interested.

I like this idea. I have some ideas about it:

-> After the Ultra FGs of JFF1&2 we could "easily" win against a "normal" FG I guess. So we should find a way to make them stronger.
-> Firstly, 5x (or more) mark and the 250 HP sounds good for every God.
-> Another thought is to give all the players FGs some enviromental effects. But not new ones (that could last a while for pour chris), but some of the already exists ones. I mean that there should be a list of approx. 20 enviomental effects such as auto Fire/Diamond/Turtle/Other Shiled, auto Lobotomizer/Other Weapon, 75 HP start for Player, 4 cards limit for Player, and some Improved cards, maybe 1 for each element (buffed Heal, better Explosion, etc.), and every player should choose 3 of them (or more?). Chris will create the deck that way. Or is that too hard or needs to much time?
-> There should be a point system. First one to kill a God should get more points then second, etc. And I think, that wins with rainbow decks should worth less than wins with mono/duo/trio decks.
-> We should find a way for Chris if he also wants to participate in the Champs.

These are my first notes...

I'll join for sure.

I also liked the 5x mark and 250HP. The more difficult the better. But with that much HP, Miracle should be banned. I would like to see a situation where it takes days to beat a God.

We already have a scoring system. Read the rules.

I know that for sure.
But chris wrote: "you have to defeat other player's Gods before they kill yours". From this, I think the winner is the first player who beats all the Gods (except his/her own God). It sounds interesting anyway.

For now I just want to know how many players are interested.
I don't feel like organizing that if you're less than 7/8.

Count me in. And I love kiszol's environmental-effects-choice thingy.

Definitely interested.  And I do like Kiz's idea of choosing which environment effects we want in play.  It'd definitely effect how I'd build my god deck.

Hmm... I may be in when I get a few more details, maybe an example?

Well, the original idea came from SG in this thread:
http://elementstheforum.smfforfree3.com/index.php/topic,944.0.html
...but was postponed because I wanted to do a few tests before the real championship (mostly to know what I can do when I play with the SWF code).
Now that we have more experience on the subject, I think it's time to prepare for the competition.
I can't really tell you much more than what I said in the first post of this thread. The details are still to be defined. You can take part in the discussion here or in the following thread:
http://elementstheforum.smfforfree3.com/index.php/topic,1063.0.html

For now what seems to be the more promising is this:
* all cards are allowed when you design your God
* you have the right to choose one of the 6 existing realm and tell me that you want to put your God in it (I'm not sure to have enough time to let you pick the exact environment effects that you want, so for now let's just say that you choose a complete realm)
* all cards will be allowed for the players who fight against your God (and for you when you'll fight against other Gods), but there might be some balance changes before the championship starts
* the score matrix will be similar to the one from JFF challenge. We'll also have to decide what bonus points should be given to players who design the hardest Gods.

If you want an example:
1. You go to the trainer and design the strongest God deck that you can think of
2. Take a screenshot of the deck and send it to me by PM
3. Wait for other players to do the same as you
4. The championship starts at a precise time (unknown yet) mid-december, just like JFF challenge
5. At this time, if you browse through the newly opened rooms, you'll see your God and all the Gods designed by other players
6. Defeat those enemy Gods as fast as you can. Provide screenshots of your victories
7. You'll get points for each victory and additional bonus if people have hard time defeating your own God

I think the main problem is that players feel they don't get anything from these challenges.

The are willing to grind False Gods for 8 hours straight in a dark room because they feel they are "achieving" something, when all they are doing is wasting their time in grinding that 6th upgraded Fate Egg. It's almost like a drug addiction and very common in online gaming. Simply having fun is not enough which is BS.

Frankly I don't know how you managed to find the motivation after the first challenge when it was clear that most of the veteran players couldn't give a s*** and were concentrating on grinding False Gods because being in top-50 makes your e-peen big!

Don't worry about my motivation. Even if the championship is canceled, it'll be replaced by something else (I'm not saying JJF 3 right now because I've got another idea that I want to test in the next few days. I'll keep you posted)
