Hehe, well, I don't know what you think of him. All I know is that he is a regular forum member.
Lol, well, I recommended him as a mod, if that's any indication. ::)
Yes, vote Uzra for mod!

I used mono-aether to fight the FGs until I found scaredgirls deck. I had tried Alaskas but it didn't work at all un-upgraded. Wint mono-aether I was getting about a 30% win rate depending on which FG I faced. Unfortunately to beat them you need a lot of stall/defense until you can start fighting back and only rainbow can stuff a deck with enough of that.

Well, I have a dark/light/aether deck in mind, but I don't have the money for it, and it requires sundial, which doesn't work properly in the trainer.

Post the deck anyway, and we'll see what can be done about it, and see if it works.

without the sundials I can keep this deck at 32 cards by taking out some light towers
basically, wait and then play a vampire, bless it 3+ times, then PU it 2+ times. It doesn't matter if you're pretty low on health by the time you get the vampire on board because they will just heal you back, and you might even get a mastery. Use the sundials to stall and draw. You also don't need much quanta, since you only need to use these cards once.

This is a sample game against a t50 using a dummy deck.

That looks pretty viable, but I'd probably replace the Siphon Life with another Vampire, just to keep it consistant. Also, does the Mark work best as Darkness, or does Light work better? Perhaps take a Mark of Time and use unupgraded Sundials? Just some thoughts, lol.

Ill need to play around with it more, but with mark of time would generate a lot of useless time quanta. With mark of darkness, I can get dark quanta if I can't draw obsidian towers. If you guys have the money, you can try this deck out and modify it, see what happens. When I try it in the trainer, I always seem to be a few turns away from winning.

The problem I see is not having Light quantum when you need to draw with those Sundials, which is almost required with this sort of deck, being 40 cards and all. I would probably play with Mark of Light to at least ensure an extra card every two turns.

I just realized that this deck will probably lose badly to Seism...not just because of his Quicksands, but also because of his Rewinds. Rainbow has Congeals, too, so that might cause a problem as well.

I playtested this deck in the trainer quite a few times, against Top 50, Fake Gods, and AI3, and I have to say that against the Fake Gods, it pretty much sucks. I got close to beating Miracle once, but he overran me (over 100 damage with all of his creatures). Broken Sundials had nothing to do with these losses.

The major problem I noticed was bad draws. With three different kinds of Towers and spells, the inconsistancies were too problematic. Also, with only a single creature as the damage AND healing source, Mind Flayer/Ulitherid and Bonewall are your worst nightmare.

However, this deck would probably work to some degree for farming Top 50 and may even be effective in PvP as it doesn't have anything to steal or destroy besides the Towers.

I'm not sure of the effectiveness, and don't have the time/willpower to test it... but I really like the concept.  Huge vampires are scary as hell.
