Since it's phrased as "may eliminate", if say a barbarian defeats the last remaining duke, but there is 1 twelver left, can the barbarian choose to be merciful in his own interests?
I think he can choose to be mercifull or eliminate his opponent yes. That's why he needs to post his decision!

It appears that one mistake was made by me when thinking the rules. It is unfair, for the Sacred Order, to be incapacitated to win due to other people forfeiting their matches. Especially so when they were thought as a "high risk, high reward" team. So, I'm changing the rules to reflect this: if a match doesn't happen for whatever reason (both walkover wins and forfeit), any Sacred Order member who Corrupted that match gains half of the normal upgrades as a "payback". That allows a Sacred Order member to win even though the people he corrupts are forfeiting their matches. But at the same time it allows for a strategic "slowing down" of the potential winners for other players.

We can still tactical forfeit the battle, playing fun(bad) decks or ilegal ones.

IMO, next time (if there is a Falling Empire 2), instead of bonus upped cards, it should be instituted as straight-up gambling with the bets hidden because otherwise... forfeits happen.

Now that Jappert the Rebel has won, we need a good icon. Some ideas are the following, but if somebody could take the Rebel's symbol (the fist) and make an icon out of it that would be great too.
