Just checking - when the Rebels say that you have to use 4 copies max, does that mean we can only use 4 copies of the same card (like I can only use 4 Antlions), or does that mean we need four copies of every card in our deck? (excluding pillars and pendula of course)

I think there's 1 card that has to be identical in every deck, and in a set of 4.

Table says 4 copies max, so I'm assuming it means 4 copies of a card is the most you can use.

Shantu- I don't think it says anything against shards, apart from the upgrade limitations.

The max-4 rule works as suggested by the name: you may use at max 4 copies of the same non-pillar card. You are not limited in any other way. Think of Team Underworld.

Are Shards allowed to be used? (I hope not.)

Duh....in almost all the events you can,and i see no rule about changing decks.

Only next round due to avoiding overcomplications.

There's not much complication.
12 opponent:"Hey you lost a match, you lost 2 upgrades".
12 member:"Alright"

Plus it makes their special the only one that doesn't effect them during the same round it happens.

Since it's phrased as "may eliminate", if say a barbarian defeats the last remaining duke, but there is 1 twelver left, can the barbarian choose to be merciful in his own interests?
