Rebels (1 upgrade) Zblader 3 - Sevs (Sub for Firecrapper) 0 Barbarians (0 Upgrades)

He played an immo/soulcatcher/virus deck with Phoenixes and Dragons for damage. Fortunately I only saw 1 phoenix and was able to concentrate CC on the Dragons.

He went against me with a Grabby/Warden/Wings deck. Was a pretty normal match until he realized his deck was illegal and gave me the win.
As Sevs said, it's not fun to make decks on the fly with limitations like these.

Had a few issues of getting the wrong quantum for the first few turns and no nova - I guessed that he was playing with fire bolts, so I kept my 2 Graboids I played burrowed until my others creature died. He play a Phoenix at the last minute, but I drew an RT in response and used it in case he played a another firebolt (which would've decided the game).
GGs, Sevs.

I am going to make a tactical retreat (forfeit) due to corruption from the Order.
So they are allowed to just forfeit like that?
Isn't refusing to play your match a form of event disruption?
What about his opponent, too? He can win this round without even being around?
Please answer, mormegil.

Well... would you prefer that they meet up and Zaealix plays a 24 pillar 6 holy flash deck? If he wants an auto-loss, I think there's not much you can do.

The point ji412jo makes is pretty sound, though. I do not want his team to have zero chances of winning. Even though their total defeat as a team will make it tougher for him (if there were more SO members, they would have more chances), I do wish for him to have a chance. So, if somebody forfeits (and that includes obvious "illegal" decks, "not really played" matches and so on, based on my judgement) he will get half the normal upgrades. That will slow him down for two rounds, most likely (which is by far more than enough for the rest of the teams to think of something, especially if the Crime Lords start Influencing a bit more). I'm pretty happy with this ruling and I think it's pretty fair. If you have trouble with this, you can talk to me in chat or through PM.

if he really wanted that the guy he betted on woulnd't "auto lose" it would be smarter to use it against opponents who'd get killed or like members of the court vs the twelve cause they wouldn't give up as they'd die.

You're not geting upgrades for free Nils. Rather spend your upgades on the rebels who fight for their people! Rebels stay true to their beliefs unlike the corrupt court!

Nils most certainly won't get any free upgrades since I just killed him. But I agree with him, I find the rule change unnecessary. Members of the Sacred Order should find better targets.
