Opening hand had 1 pillar and 0 novas.  By the time I could do anything with that, wes had a blessed warden in play.  I had gravity pull, but didn't get 2 gravity from the pillar until it was too late.  I got my next quanta card, a nova, on about turn 7.  He was using earth/light, with wardens/blessings, sancs, and a few novas for stuff like deflag and graboid evolve.  0-1

Wasn't sure if Wes was a n00b or not, and thought he might use the same deck again, so I picked this one.  Sadly, this deck bends over to the gravity/light chargers/blessing/blackhole he was using, and I drew I think 4 dimensional shields :p  I think I needed 1 or maybe 2 turns to kill him with; sadly he had I think 3-4 more pillars than me (8-4) and black holes, so I couldn't get my dragon out ever.

At this point I wasn't really sure what Wes would use next.  I went with this one hoping the 8 creature removal cards would help, since he seemed to like creature decks.  He went with this weird death/darkness thing using devourer, bloodsucker, poison, and bonewall.  I managed to get him down to 3hp before finally losing.  I had 3 cards left in deck; 2 were minor phoenix and 1 was photon, and 2 of the 4 phoenixes I had in play were drawn in the last 3 turns; I'm pretty sure I'd have won if I'd gotten them earlier.  (to answer wes's ingame question, my hand was full of immos and a spare stiletto :p)

Sorry team barbarian, bad luck on games 1 and 3, and got countered hard on game 2.  At least the Sacred Order doesn't kill, and we are immune to special powers, so I'll be back in round 2 with a vengeance!
