Elements Holiday Card Creation Challenge "Challenge Accepted" -Barney, How I Met Your Mother
I've been asked to host this years holiday challenge, as proposed by Emerald Tiger

Rules:
Any holiday, from anywhere, is fair game as long as it is not offensive.
If a chosen holiday is not well known to the world please give. any needed. information. to help a viewer the means to understand the connection from idea to holiday.
This challenge should run until a week before Christmas .
Art is welcome but not needed as usual always the card idea maker .
additional rules may be provided by the host and Idea Guru.
Card ideas may be sent to me by private message. You will have until the saturday before the first week of the winter holidays, December 22, 2013
Submission Deadline Countdown: Entries should follow the standard card submission format with 1 exception:
--!please do not include your name or other identifying features on the submitted post. That way, we can keep voting unbiased!--
Please include, within the notes section, a link to a wikipedia or other information source that provides background information about your holiday.
For example, if you were to use Christamas as your theme, you would include something like :
"For more info on Christmas, see:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas"
As the first line of your notes section.
Contestants may submit up to 3 entries.
Voting will run on the basis of 4 categories:
-Art
-Card Concept / Thematic fit
-Originality
-Overall Impression
Voting will last roughly 2 weeks, and the winner will be announced New Years day.
