Christopaz - This is actually really creative - I think you should post this. Not quite on the mark of similarity, though, misses the protection part and element.
Meow - Right idea, though I didn't feel this justified having a new status effect.

Captain Scibra - Misses the protection part, otherwise pretty good.
mwaetht - Interesting alternate take on the idea, more elegant design, too. Not quite on the mark of similarity, though.
