Hints explained:

1: Attacks the weakest enemy creature (points to MMC here)
2: deals damage equal to thunderstorm (shock from above - points to Root and mwaetht)
3: Immaterial, and evolving beyond stuff was meant to indicate element (some points to Root and MMC)


 

Closest match - MMC!  Almost spot on, but fully immaterial instead of untargetable, and lower stats
2nd - Root - correct on immaterial and attack, but devour wasn't quite it.
3rd - mwaetht - I really like this implementation and has the idea of the attack from above.


All the ideas were pretty cool this round, go submit them to Crucible guys!

Instakill, cross element cards, mass instakill, fake fractals for spells, I feel like this card is a nightmarish combination of all the things that are hated yet somehow fits together well to be a thing of dubious beauty, perhaps? Hope you like it!

I think the 'cousins' are in-element quanta generators; Soul Catcher, Dry Spell, Immolation. (I guess Rustler and Devourer don't quite count, being quanta converters? I know it's shaky, but everything else I've come up with is even more so.)

A bit OP in it's current state, I'll balance it later.

Hints explained:
1. Two halves to the idea
2. In the "Other" element
3. Cousin to Fire Bolt and Ice Bolt due to the bolt mechanic, Cousin to Bone Wall due to the stacks.

Elk: You got the essence of the two halves, so I'll deem you as winner.
Mawetht: Not quite what I was looking for
Kirby: You got the bolt and the "other", but it doesn't quite capture the essence of Throwing Knives.
