Roll up! Roll up! And welcome, my fellow elementalists, to another riveting CI&A Challenge. This time, the name of the game is Complements. You must create 2 new cards which complement each other; that is, they work together excellently. That said, both cards must be valid and useful on their own. These cards can be of any type but cannot be of the same element or of the "other" element.

Once the submission phase has ended, a poll will be created to see the community's favourite idea. However, the true winner will be chosen by Drake_XIV, another card curator or (if all else fails) myself. How the ideas are judged will be left to the judge.

Art will not be necessary. If you wish to include art in your card idea, you are welcome to, but it will have not improve your chance.

RULES
  • You must create two cards with both an unupgraded and upgraded version.
  • The two cards must belong to different elements. Only the 12 main elements are allowed for this contest.
  • Card submissions must be created using Xeno's Card Creator. There is no need to include the entire formatting table, only the 4 card images (2 upped and 2 unupped) and a brief description will do. Cards created using other software may be rejected.
  • Card submissions should be posted in this thread before the submission phase ends. Cards submitted after the submission phase has ended may be rejected.
  • Art is allowed but not required.
  • You may not use cards that are already in game or already in the CI&A boards

If requested, an extension can be given.

    • Starts recording only after summoned (cannot activate ability
      before enemy plays a spell).
    • If ability is used multiple times (by other copies of the
      creature or otherwise), the same spell will be copied each
      time (does not "pop" a spell out of the "history stack" upon

    Notes

    • Word "owner" refers to target creature's controller.
    • If ability requires a target, or the owner has
      insufficient quanta, the ability will fail (no noticeable spell
