Provides a twist on the SoBr mechanic. It provides a means of more constant streams of cards, but also could inflict serious damage in the process. Should would well with cards like mind gale (just added to cygnia) and rewind.
The damage dealt is calculated as √(cost +1) for unupgraded and √(cost + 3) for upgraded. (i.e. square root of cost +1 / cost +3)
The damage dealt is spell damage, so reflective shields will interact.
(I went with "shin" because that was the name chosen for the [ , ] hybrid... there was no card back yet so I just went with a forced duo instead)

Spoiler for Further details: This card replaces the drawing mechanic - it is NOT in addition to the single card drawn by default. The amount of cards drawn is 3-N (three minus "N") where N is the number of cards drawn by your opponent on the previous go. Spoiler for The Exception: The only time you would draw the full 3 cards that Entanglement can bestow is if your opponent also has Entanglement. Say you draw 2 cards with Entanglement, then use Precog a couple time such that you drew 4 cards in total. Your opponent then draws 0 cards on their go. 3-0=3, so you draw 3 cards. Yay!
However, this causes a horrible imbalance in which one player draws no cards and the other draws three. So in this case I'd add an exception to the Entanglement rule, in which two Entanglements cancel each other out, leaving each player to draw one card as per usual.
However, I'd also amend that such Entanglements cancel each other out on a one-to-one ratio. So, if both players have one Entanglement each, they cancel. However, if one player has 1 and the other has 2, the player with the most Entanglements receives the Entanglement effect, and the other player draws as per default despite that they have an Entanglement.
If anyone can think of a way to put this on the card I'd very much appreciate it. |

Drawing activates both on play and in the beginning of each turn. You can draw more than once during the same turn if you play more flags|banners. Flags|Banners are not cumulative and the upgraded card overwrites the unupgraded, just like Nightfall|Eclipse.
Strategies:
Synergy with Chimera. Courier Flag|Banner is also a good splash card (card that requires only the mark to be played) in decks with many cheap, but cost-effective attackers (e.g: Minor Phoenix, Graviton Guard, Abyss Crawler). A good strategy when you have only one creature on your field is to wait until you have a sufficient amount of creatures in your deck, then when they start clogging your hand, play them all.
