During Forum Brawl #2, there was a Forum Expert task at Round 4 about "Rework Voting in the CI&A section in a way that would better show a card's quality". There may be some quite interesting suggestions in there if you have both the time and patience to read them all. The link is HERE!

Okay that voting is over, the new system won. I'd like to thank you all for your inputs, this would never have been as close as good without your comments. With that I'd also like to say that you are free to leave feedback to Cia at any time in this thread!

I will start changing the Read this first post now and update the system within 3 weeks. ( theres lots of work to do )

Atm I would be very happy if you could look at the cards that are in each lv and make a vote on them. The ones with 4or more stars will stay the rest will be archived unless they are new. In other words this and this.

I think something like "laboratory" or a synonym to "Finishing touches" could be good. Other ideas?

Maybe something so that people if they don't want their card (like if they see no capabilities in the card) and are able to take it down if they want.

"Slack Tub" is porbably the most accurate term (it is the place where the forged metal is cooled down) however it doesn't have a very good sound. What about "Anvil"?

So I know I've mentioned it in some other discussion threads, but I think it would be cool to somehow integrate a little more feedback into the polling than just a raw popularity poll (at least in the later stages where card ideas are being polished).

I.e. It would be neat to have a poll that took more of a survey like form. E.g. "Rate this card's characteristics X Y Z on a scale of 1 (horrible) to 5 (awesome)"
-Mechanics - does this card bring anything new / interesting / useful to the game
-Thematics - how well does this card idea fit within its element
-Balance - is this card well balanced or is it over/under powered compared to others

Then, to advance a card would have to meet a minimum level on each category (maybe 3 or 4 and up) and cards with the highest total scores would advance.

This would probably need to happen after crucible since this kind of polling takes more time and effort for all involved parites, but it could be very useful for fine tuning a card. It also is much easier for the designers to address what needs to be done for their card since they wouldn't have to hunt through several pages of comments to find out what everyone thinks of their card overall.
