[Old] How to Post A Card Idea

Zanzarino recently created new backgrounds for certain card images.  I have two questions that some other people might have also:

1. Will the card creator by PlanPlan be updated to include the new borders?
2. If the answer to 1 is "yes", will I have to remake all of my cards that use the old borders?

Yes. The moment it gets updated (it should be by now, with the help of Xenocidius ^^; ), it should include the new borders.
No - the new background updates are not retroactive. It would be incredibly difficult to ask EVERYONE to search for all of their Entropy, Earth, Darkness, etc. cards that had the old backgrounds and update them accordingly. But when I get word that the new borders are directly implemented in the new card image generators, then that will be the standard.

The new backgrounds have been in the Card Image Builder for a while now (ever since Zanz released the new Darkness background). SevenSapiens has also changed his template to include the new backgrounds.

1) Is there a way to reduce the font size in the card image builder?
2) When tweaking an idea, should you just modify your original post?

1) No. If a card's description can't fit on the image builder, then it won't fit in the game, so what's the point? You should either try to shorten the description (the people in Chat (http://elementscommunity.org/chat/blab.php) can help you with this), or make your idea less complex.

This is more of a place where guidelines or rules are stated, not a discussion thread, but it would be nice to have a general discussion thread.

If I have a card idea. But no art for the card and unable to make any card art myself. Do I still post it in Level 0 - Smithy and where can I get card art for the card(s)?

First look though this board. http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/board,22.0.html Sometimes all I need is to read the card idea and then I can come up with something.

Hmm... it so I have to have submitted my card and get it level 2 or 3 before really having much chance of getting the art?

I guess that means I CAN submit my cards without the art then?

No, cards MUST have art to get into the Crucible, even if it is only crappy placeholder art. You can find a lot of that from sxc.hu (http://www.sxc.hu/).
