Recently I created a Pseudoquanta thread for Mirror Quanta and intentionally broke one of the rules listed HERE (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,5039.msg56336.html#post_PQ). My poll does not have exactly 2 options.
My reasoning behind this is that while some people may not like the concept behind your particular Pseudoquanta, they may enjoy other Pseudoquanta more. Some members of the community may not like the concept of Pseudoquanta at all and by default vote against it. This may create a bias for the "No, I don't like it." response.
May this be permitted?
No. The rules state that there
must be exactly 2 options. This was put in place to avoid
any kind of bias, to please the skeptics and it makes the curator's job easier.
It also helps filter the amount of quality ideas that are put into the repository. The curator who is reviewing your card will decide, based on your poll and the posts on your topic whether or not there is enough public interest in your idea to put it into the repository.
EDIT: If someone votes No on your poll from a global disliking of repository-based ideas, they had absolutely no grounds to vote in the first place. The poll is meant to decide if there is public interest in the
idea itself not the category that was made for it.
