As long as you hit the design criteria, you're allowed to go as crazy as you want.
Just be warned that people usually don't vote for creature slot targeting, minimum-deck-raising pseudoquanta cards because it's just that: Crazy.

None of the above mechanics you've stated are crazy in practice in at all. The core problem is that single cards with those effects are usually too situational in the meta and a whole series of cards would be required to 'expand the meta' enough to the point where they'd have some use, as detailed here.

It's fine to list what mechanics are difficult to design but don't misrepresent them.

Yes. Only the casting cost cannot be the original element.
