I am 0-2 with this deck against EP so far.  First time I only had 8 upgraded cards, but second time (today) I lost again with fully upped deck. I wasted my storms on his dragons (had 4 of them out so I was afraid), then I ran out when he fractalled phoenixes the second time, which made me lose my bone wall quick and did not get another one.

I had better luck using SPlat against EP (2-2) when I just got him randomly while farming with SPlat.

SoSac also works great on eternal phoenix. Poison dials with sosac makes EM easy.

Wonderful deck: was a full success.

Shame that I didn't pick a thunderstorm before last turn, otherwise my vulture would have been over 100/70

If you've already got Poison Dials, you probably know the frustration that comes from having EP topdeck an Explosion and destroy your Dial, pushing you under 40HP.  This deck gets rid of that fear, while also allowing a high-HP EM if you're cautious and don't play all your poisons/arsenics right away.

But, on a better note, Bonestorm does work very well. I made an error in judgement and almost died, but my bone wall saved me with 1 stack left and I drew a thunderstorm, I guess RNG is looking up to me =D I only drew one vulture the whole game through, so eternal phoenix had to die from skeletons.
Didn't win a card though, better luck next time, I guess....

SoSac dials can get you EMs if you can time them correctly.

Used this variation today and won handily.





Obviously subbed Soul Catchers for Pillars/Towers.  Threw in a few Retroviruses, too.  I prefer them to Plagues because you get an extra death effect from them.  Also, the AI seems to prefer targeting one's bone shields instead of the Soul Catchers, so Explosion is no worry.  Only problem I had was my first Condor was Fire Bolted before it grew large enough to survive it, and then my field got clogged with skeles before I drew another Condor.

I think retros are useless there. EP has tones of CC and can kill them in the turn you play them. Plagues are uncounterable by EP, so they are just better.
