I have yet to beat this FG without a specialized deck.  All the times I was actually winning, I was finished off with a few Fire Lances. 60 HP to 0 HP when I get Eternal Phoenix to a killable amount of HP.

Can anyone suggest some specialized decks against him? I have a hard time trying to design some specialized deck that could beat him most of the time.

I've beat him about 40-50% of the time with my rainbow deck.  Basically just survive the beginning wave and always use a Quintessence on your Oty.  Once you get a couple boneyards out and have an Oty plus 1-2 feral bonds you're set.

(lost the first time due to treating my first bonewall as if it's the only copy, been playing rainbow for too long i guess)

won myself a Fractal and Minor Phoenix off of it

I started with a pretty god hand... 3 towers 2 hourglasses and a sundial. He starts with 2 towers and *gasp* no MP.

I draw my 4th tower then he explodes all of them.... played hourglass *explode* next turn played a sundial *explode*.
