DECK IDEAS

:entropy Amilir
:fire Hyroen

:entropy Nyma
:fire brettbstock

 -

1.  -

:entropy 10 men
:darkness kobisjeruk

:entropy xKelevra
:darkness Kuroaitou

 -

1. Dissipation Stall - I suspect Darkness to use Nova decks against us again, since they will fear SS from us. I think we play modified SS to beat them, but if we wanted a different option, a Dissipation Stall could be constructed that would work. Preferably with a good amount of CC.

:entropy Zeru
:air chum3

1.  -

:entropy vagman13
:life willng3

 -

1.  -

:entropy Kurohami
:light Fenix2011

 -

1.  -

:entropy Sir Valimont
:aether Toimu13

 -

1. Charging Wormhole - Zeru's original Wormhole deck with Discord and Black Hole denial, however with added Sapphire Chargers in place of some Abominations. Chargers slightly reduce the CC of the deck because opposing creatures that are Gravity Pulled don't get hit by Charger but there is an added advantage versus Aether who likes to stall behind Dimensional Shields.

:entropy SnoWeb
:water RavingRabbid

 -

1. Adren-Demon - Our Life-Entropy duo should work fine again this round, even though we used it against Water in Round 5. Adrenaline works on Demons, Druids and Purple Nymphs, all of which provide CC of some kind as well. Emerald Shields and Heals are optional cards depending on whether we expect Ice Bolts or not, and other such considerations.

I'm glad I'm offered a second Italian to fight this round! This one is a lieutenant. I notice kuro killed him nicely last round with a :entropy / :life duo. I don't know if it's wise to go with the same deck ... Nyma also easily won her match against water with an :aether / :entropy deck. I've no Idea what is the best strategy here.

@ Valim: congrats for your special award! :P

Well, if you want to find out what you have to play against water... you just have to look at what they're going to play. How do you know what they'll play? Look at the decks they played last round that won.
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,16472.0.html (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,16472.0.html) An extremely weird Nova Deck.
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,16459.0.html (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,16459.0.html) A Miracle Stall.
They will still have those decks next round. What's their third deck? Well, they did not get any useful salvage that round. Also they were scraping to fill all their decks with enough water cards, which led to such beauties as the Nova Deck or the deck Kurohami won against. So their 3rd deck will most likely be... a suicider.
At this point I think our best choice for your match is indeed the :entropy :life duo, not because it beats the water decks particularly well, but because it's one of our weaker decks and we need the good ones for our harder matchups.

I guess I should train on this, then:
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vd 4vd 4vd 4vd 4vd 4vd 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vm 4vm 4vm 500 500 500 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 5c2 5c4 5c4 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7Are the 2 shield really necessary, though? Won't it be better with some more heal (if we have some). Kuro - you played with it last turn - what do you think?

Are the 2 shield really necessary, though?
No, not at all. Actually when I look at the deck it seems the first thing it needs is more pillars.
Also there is a slight chance that the Maxwells are needed elsewhere, but still it can't hurt if you playtest a bit with it.

Let's study their vault ... if they have a ton of Ice Bolts, I'd leave the shields. If anything else, I would remove them in favor of one or two more Amethyst Pillars.

Just a hunch but I see a fire stall coming up in our near future.

How about a :gravity :entropy deck with Black Hole - Discord denial but also Chargers, Aboms and Momentum ?

EDIT: My mistake I thought those were Bone Walls.

Well, their Miracle Stall uses a ton of Ice Bolts... but that deck also has Mirror Shields. ;)
