As nyma pointed out, this is in my oppinion also the most dangerous deck fire has to offer

Code: [Select]
52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52q 52q 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f6 5f6 5fb 5fb 5fb
Well it's definitely the most dangerous deck for the poison stall. On the other hand it gets totally ripped by anything with discords. (For round 4 I tested the matchup of Entropy splash time vs that deck with Nyma. I won even though I had 5-6 pure CC spells in my deck.)

So, as usual against fire, it comes down to the lottery of choosing the right deck. Poison stall beats most of their decks but loses against their poison deck. A normal deck beats their poison. Any preferences?

In round 4 we will probably use these decks:
2 Scrambled Shriekers, 1 Nova Darkness, 2 poison stall, 1 Entropy Aether, 1 Entropy Life, 1 Entropy Time and one other deck.
We can probably build a nice Air deck (Wings + AM sounds pretty 8)), but we have to carefully balance our Entropy creature usage.

I really like your balanced ideas 10men ... I guess I think we should keep what you've said in mind, but I still feel we need to approach our match-ups one at a time. Starting with our Fire battles, then moving on to Darkness, then Air, then Light, then Life, then the weaklings (Water, Aether).

Here are my ideas.

Amilir, this could have a chance vs firebolts.
Code: [Select]
4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vl 4vl 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 590 590 590 590 590 593 593 5c2 5f6 5f6 5og 5og 5oi 6u5 74f 77g
Nyma, hopefully they use try immolation phoenix here, which would totally fail.
Code: [Select]
4vp 4vp 4vp 4vp 4vp 4vp 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52o 52q 52q 52r 52r 52r 52r 52r
Tenmen said he wants this:

Some more ideas I had:
I think I'll use Entropy-Time, as they have 2 Nova-Graboid Decks left which RT is very good against.
Another possible deck against them could be Entropy Air, some thing like this maybe:
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vf 4vn 4vn 4vn 4vn 4vn 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 50u 5ol 5ol 5on 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo 5oo 5ooIf they steal the Wings, we don't care because our creatures can fly and the weapon is ranged. AM+Wings can stall for a loong time.
Against Aether I think we can play Nova-Darkness. Aether doesn't have a Nova deck of their own, so with our PC it should be a safe choice.
We can still use the Discord-BH deck, but against water. Chargers get through Ice Shield nicely and it should also beat their whatever-bow.
Other decks can be Scrambled Shriekers against Light, Entropy-Aether against Life and another Poison Stall (though with DissShields) against Air.

Hello, I possibly will not be able to participate in this round because I have exams all through the next two weeks. This week was a nightmare for me, I had two nights with less than 5 hour of sleep and it was stressful overall. I am sorry about affecting the team because of my personal reasons, but exams are important. I hope you all can understand.

In Yesterday's chat session, Sir Valimont was interested ( ;)) in the decision process that let to this rounds deck choices. In had to run, so I couldn't participate in the discussion, so here's a couple explanations from me:

Fire: Poison stall was an obvious choice as it has a very good chance against all but one of their unupped decks. The other one was more difficult. Scrambled Shriekers was what we ended up with as it crushes all of their stalls (don't listen to jmdt the kong noobie, I don't think their wings deck would have fared any better), while it's probably the underdog against their rainbows but not hopeless, as those rainbow-mirrors tend to be pretty luck-based (who draws more Novas).

Darkness: Both decks were built mostly with their NovaGraboids deck in mind, but as both are also fine decks in a vacuum, they are also good when they wouldn't play them. This turned out nicely, although the Wings deck could have gotten into difficulties against the Fractal-Devourer deck, if Owl's Eye doesn't show up.

Water: Discord-BH is good against both a miracle stall and a bad rainbow, and I know that we already lost against the latter with Discord-BH, but that was definitely a fluke of bad luck. Also I am very happy that we didn't play Entropy-Life aka. I-fold-against-quinted-Toadfish-deck.

Aether: I pretty sure that our Nova Darkness deck would have crushed anything Aether could have delivered. Apparently they saw that coming and made the correct move: Suicide.

Air: Well, they have an Air-Fire deck that would've had a good chance. Other than that we felt good.

Life: Those guys had fielded two NovaGraboid decks last round, and other Elements like using those against us, because of their resistance against Discord. So using Scrambled Shriekers against them, like Vali suggested, is a complete no-go, as this is exactly where you don't want to position them. Scrambled Shriekers will rip any non-rainbow deck, but it has max. 50% against other rainbows, or less because Discord is so unspectacular. Entropy-Aether with 6 Lightnings however is an excellent choice against that deck, as it does very little when you just kill all their guys. The two Quints would have helped against their Fire Stall. Of course, I did not see the DimShield stall coming. Should we have expected that? Maybe.

Light: The only rainbows they used last round was a really bad Novabow and a mediocre Immo-Phoenix. So Scrambled Shriekers seemed like a reasonable choice against them. I didn't anticipate them to salvage back (or even save up??) a NovaGraboid deck. My bad.
