General - Zeru
General is the leader of the team who makes sure that other team members are doing their jobs and fighting their battles. General also communicates with Warmasters.Lieutenant - Amilir
Lieutenant is second in command. If one team member is unable to perform his or her duties, the Lieutenant is responsible for performing the job of that team member. Lieutenant will not get any bonuses when replacing the General or the Substitute during duel phase.Strategist - 10 men
Strategist is in charge of planning team overall strategy. Each round, Strategist starts a topic that talks about opponents strengths and weaknesses, for example what cards the opponents have left, what kind of decks they like to use, etc.Vault Organizer - Kurohami
Vault Organizer makes sure that the team Vault is up-to-date at all times by adding and removing cards when needed.Deckbuilder - Sir Valimont
Deckbuilder starts a deck topic for each round. Everyone on the team joins deckbuilding discussion, but it's Deckbuilders job to make sure that all the decks are ready on time and that none of the decks are illegal.Duel Organizer - xkelevra
Duel Organizer is in charge of all team duels happening during a round. If one or more team members are unable to fight their duels, Duel Organizer must inform the General as soon as possible and try to find a replacement.Salvager - Snoweb
Salvager starts the "Salvaging/Discarding" topic. Everyone on the team joins the discussion, but it's Salvagers job to make sure that all discarding and salvaging are done on time.Substitute - vagman13
Substitute can temporarily replace any team member during duels, and can salvage 3 cards if he or she wins (other players substituting cannot salvage anything).Rookie - Nyma

Salut to you all my Entropy fellows,
I think the vault should be organized by someone that knows a bit how war develops. It is my first war and so I'm willing to learn. However, I still feel insecure in giving my opinion on the Vault building.
However, knowing what the team already has, the Vault organizer(s) should be able to know what he can put in it without any risk (of the members not being able to play - e.g. our Rookie). He or the officers would also be able to indicate what we should buy at first.

Greetings team Entropy! (and bonjour SnoWeb)

For my part I am happy to play any role the team would like. I like Zeru's concept that we will all contribute to various aspects of strategy and responsibilities. If I had to choose a role most appropriate I would probably say "strategist."

A little about me:

- I work in the tech industry so I'm online frequently. I lurk a bit but I won't usually be too involved during the workday. Obviously if something comes up that needs my attention, no problem. Otherwise I am readily available.

- I've designed a few strategy games and found Elements originally in doing research on what fantasy card games exist online (I am launching my own fantasy card game online next year).

- I have studied statistics and my day job is basically a product designer for a statistical analysis firm. My strengths are strategy and design of course. I used to teach math and have written standardized tests for several states on the East Coast of the USA.

- I speak English and French fluently.

- I love Entropy!

I would like to be the deck builder. I've looked at every match that Entropy took part in and thought about any new strategies that any other teams might use.

As for our war banner, I could ask a couple friends to design one for us. Just tell me what you guys think should be on it.

The most important positions in the team are the Lieutenant and the substitute. Both should have a schedule as flexible as possible, as their availability matters in critical situations. I have a relatively strict university schedule, so those persons are probably not going to be me. In irc, vagman expressed interest in the substitute position.
As for the other roles, they're not that important, I'll try to contribute to any strategic aspect of the war regardless of my position. That said, my favourite position would be strategist or vault organizer.

edit: I just saw in the rules that the Lieutenant can in fact not "sub the substitute". Also the university schedule is not as bad as I thought, so I'd be up for the Lieutenant position if no one else wants it.
