- Just about everything I went up against. Was scared when I went up against a fire deck, but managed to cope with it pretty well. Held my psion until I had plenty of chaos powers in hand, then played them after I got discord out. Managed to soak up the weakened fire bolts - a rage potion finished off one of my strong psions in the end, but still had enough damage on the field to win the next turn.
Otyughs didn't pose much of a threat against the buffed psions.
Hold psions and chaos powers until they can survive lightnings against aether. (and shockwaves against air, I suppose)
Bonus points with this one is that most elements won't be expecting Psions from us, so Reflectives are extremely unlikely to be seen at least until it's revealed. We *might* want to consider Lobos if it's expected to be used a lot We already for other reasons have 2 lobos in vault.
Weak against:
- Water. My psions got frozen as soon as I played them - thought I could maybe wait out the freezes, but as soon as squids came out I knew it was a lost battle.
- Sundials. Psions don't have any trouble against the majority of shields, but a rainbow I went up against chained dials as my 15/12 psions just sat there.
- Antimatter. I think we're pretty unlikely to go up against this, but it really screwed me over. Was the same rainbow with the sundials I mentioned above.
- RT? I played my psions without buffing them to burn through the AI's RTs, but I'd say real players would be a bit smarter than that.
- Devourers really slowed me down - didn't pull a discord early enough to disrupt them (and it got stolen anyway.) Managed to win just before the dragons finished me off.
- Basilisk bloods and earthquakes shut me down - I was stupid and played too many pillars/pendulums at a time, but the BBs were worse than the freezes.
