Ups, stupid mistake. Well, these polls are made to improve the war 2 and WoE events, so the Entropy option would be bad anyway.

I said darkness, fire and gravity, in that order. Antimatter thoroughly destroys vampires, while mutants ruin devourer spam (and pandemonium too, unless they have earth mark for burrowing). Maxwell's daemons kill all fire creatures, antimatter really hurts them (because of their high attack). Gravity's momentum gets stopped by antimatter, their large units and oty's get mutated, and their shield only blocks upgraded dragons and werewolves/lycanthropes (and probably many mutants). Butterfly effect is good against all three, but not as good as it is against life, time and rainbows (though life favours more units, time can rewind you mutants and rainbows can counter practically everything given time, so they don't make it into the top 3).

Actually entropy isn't that good against gravity now that I think about it, it's just much better than most other elements in that match-up.

Depends; upgraded or not?

Unupgraded it's passable against mono rush decks, although some of the more effective countermeasures against high damage/cost creatures like maxwell's demons and antimatter are expensive and slow to get out.  Chaos seed is a reasonably cost effective way to kill or neutralize most things under 3HP, or at least dent them so the demons can finish them off.  The biggest problem for unupped entropy is the lack of anything really cost effective for rushing.  Discord is freaking brutal, but as a rare card.

Upgraded entropy cards often do something completely different than the unupgraded ones, which is annoying.  Want to pack a bunch of cheap creature buffs and a bunch of cheap creature control?  Sorry buddy, you can only have a total of six chaos seed and chaos power.  Upgraded entropy works better in concert with something else, e.g. as one half of the evil nymphomania combo (pwn the false gods with math!) or powering a rush deck with supernovas.

*Adds to hit list*

Being serious, however, I chose Water, Life and Time.  Basing things purely on Mono versus Mono perspective, Discord brings ruin to all three of these while Entropy's other utility cards negate any attempt to recover.  I'm surprised to see that Fire is leading so far ahead considering that its two most used creatures (Phoenix and Lava Destroyer) shrug off Antimatter and Immolation/Cremation does a nice job of cushioning Discord's Scramble effects (not to mention Explosion takes care of that threat completely), the two most widely used cards in Entropy.  Fire has enough control to take care of the more threatening creatures.  And then Firestall pretty much = GG.

Why isn't entropy here? It could be used against entropy.

Who would vote for  :aether?!

Every creature is "Immortal" (except for Phase Spider but Quissidenccense ((dont know how to spell that)) fixes that)

Immortal/Phase Dragon/Quissidessenced Phase Spiders makes Chaos Seed/Pandumionium just cards that are in your hand.

Dimension Shield makes every creature useless.

Lighting kills super-Mutants. (For Example I once got a 9/4 Abomination with Lycanathrope from Fallen Elf but got hit with lighting before it could get the +5/+5)

Mindgate can make your own deck your nightmare.

Lobotomizer takes away Fallen Elfs/Cats ability and takes away any useful abilitys your mutants get.

Discord & a Beefy Dissapation Shield seems to be the only threat. Aether's high cost ruins Aethers quanta flow. While the Dragons and Immortals cant do enough damage to kill them. (Unless the aether enemy has like 6 lightnings in their hand, like every Aether AI has)

Potentially an early discord could screw up aether, in conjunction with bh considering how quanta heavy aether is; it would not be a bad match-up.
