Not much to criticize about this one. Love it, can't wait to see it in-game. *hype*

Lycanthropes are no targets for Butterfly Effect ? They only cost 2 :entropy, that´s 1 :entropy more than this here.

Yes but this enables BE to be effectively used in a deck that doesn't also have Darkness.

If the Lycan's are in a deck for a BE, then you don't need darkness... That would cause them to not work with BE.

BE is the type of card that you don't need to use on lots of creatures; but you don't want to have only 1 in the deck if you rely on it. Therefore its best use is with creatures who are otherwise useful but for one of which you might use BE. It's a matter of good deckbuilding. :)

Just wanting to clear up, when it uses Dead or Alive, does it reset to original status? Or does it keep buffs and things like poison?
Perception is the source of misunderstanding.

Why, yes. I do have a Mindgate necklace. It's how I ninja everyone.

I'm still not seeing your point. This card wouldn't be good without BE. Heck, this card is kind of useless in an entropy mono. The only benefit this has over lycan is that it costs 1 less to play. Regardless if you're taking Lycans or Cat's for BE, you're going to be left with useless extras. As stated before, this just costs one less. If you go duo, you wouldn't be left with useless cards, since you could use them as stronger creatures.

Anyway, I'm expecting to see more death effect cards relatively soon, if not with this card, then hopefully the next update.

Just consider a :entropy / :death duo. Would you rather have 6 Lycans and 3 BE or 6 Cats and 3 BE? The cats are useful either with or without BE; the Lycans are only useful with BE.

Nothing happens to the cat at all.  It just triggers effects as though something died, but the cat is just sitting there.  TTBOMU, of course.
If something happens and you think it deserves my attention, feel free to PM me. Other than that, I'm probably here if you want to shoot the breeze.

Actually I disagree. I think if what Essence said were the case, it would just say "triggers death effects." But the card actually goes out of the way to say that it dies ... meaning to me that it probably acts as if it were instantly replayed. So yes, I would guess that effects like poison and enchantments disappear.
