But this would force players to splash aether in any deck...

Aetherferine... well, with quintessence you can just use mark of aether and splash it in your deck... it's not like it costs much..

you know why I like this nymph? it means I don't have to burn X amount of  :entropy quantums every time I get hit.

also...does anyone know what happens when creatures with negative attack hit the entropy shield? I've been meaning to test that.

As far as I know, creatures with negative attack ignore shields and heal you directly. If you notice how creatures that deal 0 damage, or those that have all of their damage prevented (Malignant Cells against a Skull Buckler), do not attack, and therefor have no effects towards or against the shield. This is because they would deal no damage at all. However, a negative attack is treated quite similarly in the fact that it is uneffected by the shield, and it takes an 'action,' but there is no 'attack.' Instead, it just heals you instead of attacking.

I hope I explained that well enough. >.<"

Hey guys, I'm new here.  I recently got the Purple Nymph from the Oracle, but don't know how I should use it well.  Can someone direct me to what I should do with this card, considering it's the best one I have?

Do NOT sell the nymph, it's possibly one of the best out there. I'd keep it until you make a rainbow god farmer, and then you can put it in there. Thats what I did, and it's saved me so many times.

Thanks a lot for the advice.  I do not plan on selling the card.  I'm currently playing an entropy/darkness deck, mark of darkness.  I'm not sure what type of rainbow deck I should be aiming for.  A bunch of quantum pillars, some fireflies?

Depends if you can afford upgrades or not. If you can only afford a few, then ScaredGirl's deck will be a decent choice:

Remember to swap out a Steal for an extra Quintessence in that deck.

If you CAN afford upgrades, then you have a lot more choice. Puppychow's, Fractal + RoL, No-Damage just to name a few. Have a prowl round the forums to find some
