Personally, I'd prefer this take a different approach to a nerf. I feel the problem can be more cleanly adressed without destroying nova rush decks. Having a card clog up your hand to prevent overuse seems like a poor way to do so. So, I advocate two changes.
First, nova is left alone. The card, though useful, is already weak, adding further conditions on producing 1 quantum effectively destroys the card.
Second, for supernova, we change the generation slightly. Instead of generating 2 quantum for each element, it would produce 2 quantum in all elements, except
. No singularity produced.
The change fixers the majority of issues with the card without actively ruining its rush potential. First, the card is no longer self powering, producing only 2
will not suffice to power all of your supernovas. Second, though it achieves the same effect of singularities (putting a hard limit on how many times you can use the effect), it is a less ham fisted solution, which can still be used in rush decks if planned for correctly.
