One of the duties of the teams in War is to try to prove their element to be the best. To try to prove to everyone that their element is Overpowered relative to the rest.
(Another duty is to prove that the best players like their element.)

It's a good nerf, maybe not good enough, but good regardless.

This card is somewhere on top of my hate list, since just one of these can sometimes lock you down better than even Devtal -an entire deck dedicated to denial- because of it's sheer speed. I'd rather see the amount of quanta scrambled early lots lower like 5-6 and then increase over time, to compensate for it's uselessness on the long term.

Interesting suggestion; would you rather have Discord scramble a PERCENTAGE of quanta rather than a static amount? Say, 50% for example...

It would be an interesting idea to do it this way so that it always punishes the opponent equally at all game times (mid-game, later on, early, etc.), while also nerfing its (potential) capacity to just screw everyone over when it hits the field on turn 1-2.

50% would murder slow decks whenever they don't pack Sanctuary(oh, Sanctuary, Sanctuary...), especially since scrambled quanta doesn't negate but enhance the scrambling effect for these decks, so maybe something like a middle road, combining a set amount of scrambling with a low percentage, say 4 + 20% (still scrambling up to 19 quanta from a Bolt mono).

How about it scrambles a random percentage between 25-50%.

It seems like a good change to me, small, but in the right direction, since discord is quite powerful.  As others mentioned, I could see increasing the cost by 1 or maybe even 2 being fair, or maybe dropping the damage by 1, since it's one of the harder hitting weapons as well as being one of the best abilities.

Actually a % seems a good idea : discord is OP in the beginning and totally useless then, this change will balance it I think.
