It's great in PvP. Most decks there are speed decks that rely on heavy hitters, and antimatter turns them into heavy givers :-D If you're up against someone that has units you can target when played but may not be targetable after, always keep enough quanta to cast antimatter (or if you don't have one handy, at least mutation depending on what it is). The mutations are mainly to counter creature control... druids, maxwell demons, and squids are the biggest threats. If your opponent uses poison as creature control you might use one on your dragon (kind of a gamble though). The discord isn't needed, but I have it in there anyway (you can replace it with a mutation). Taking out three towers for three novas/supernovas would also be useful occasionally and wouldn't hurt the deck (if you're worried about devourers or if for when you occasionally mutate your dragons).

It's decent in AI5... I went about 50%, and I could have done better if I had played more intelligently (usually either not reserving quanta for antimatter or using mutation when I didn't need to).

Its weakness is lots of creature control, aether (no targets AND phase shield), and the new thorn shield (if it's played early, don't play your dragons until you have enough out to win in three or four turns).

Its strength is against most creature damage based speed decks. Ten cards are specifically used to counter those decks, and if you have a discord and get it early, it will slow them down.

wouldn't chaos seed  be better for critter control?

No, you want to make sure you're getting rid of the creature. Chaos seed doesn't always kill, and sometimes it rewinds, so they just come back on the next turn. Mutation "ensures" that the creature won't be doing anything to your dragons (it's rare that regular mutation creates a creature that has creature control AND the ability cost is the same element as one they are using). And mutation is more flexible because you can use it on your dragons if the situation calls for it. Also, if your opponent has nothing but small attacking creatures, mutating one (or more) into a 5 attack abomination is a good way to get something that antimatter will have more effect on.

@ darkfrogger

Double posting = not good. Please use the edit button :)

On-topic: Splashing in Darkness for a few copies of Liquid Shadow and a Steal could work to bypass pesky shields; Antimattered Vampiric creatures ignore shields when doing damage to your opponent. Liquid Shadows are also useful as an "emergency labotomy," as it replaces the target's ability with Vampire.

Steals can also let you take some of those annoying shields for yourself (Phase, Permafrost, Thorn, etc.)

I don't know, I haven't used it in a long time. Nor have I fought an halfbloods.

tested it against half-bloods, it works ok, however, one heavy weakness is CC
with only 6 creatures, if they are taken out one way or another (usually be shields such as fire buckler and spine carapace since this deck has no PC at all), u lose by decking out

I think, rather than adding on a splash of darkness, you should add a splash of aether, and put in some fractals
