PvP1 mono-entropy deck study https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=13765.msg173718#msg173718

This is the first deck I posted if I screwed up please message me and I will correct my mistake.
Now I did a study with mono-entropy. I did 2 sets of 20 PvP1 games and marked down all wins and losses, and when I finished with full health.
Without further delay I give you the results.
Set 1
17 wins (4 games ended with full health )
3 losses
In set 1 all my losses were to decks that played darkness, and a main reason for this I believe is devourer. This card comes out early and I believe it is pure evil.
Set 2
18 wins ( again 4 games ended with full health )
2 losses
In set 2 1 loss was to poison rush and 1 loss to darkness deck of some kind.

Overall I think this is a good deck as it managed a good winning percent of 87.5% in PvP. I find this to be somewhat simple after you learn about other decks and what they can do. I must admit 2 of my losses in set 1 could have been wins had I played my shield right and waited, but I got greedy and tried to get a 100 health, and my shield got destroyed in the early game and I had to regain quanta but devourers did not allow this.

If you go first and open with discord odds are you will win, I did not even come close to losing if I opened with it. It can do 4 damage a turn and really really mess your enemy up.

Now the balance of this deck can be off sometimes but not 1 loss was due to this. I have drawn all pillers in my open hand and won against a pheonix rush deck, so don't give up.
Abomination is a much better card than I ever gave it credit for, 5 health is truely awesome!

Also 32 cards is perfect, those mono-aether decks with 30 cards can not win against this deck, your shield will wreak them to the point of deck out! This never happened yet but it came close, I always end up finishing thier HP but it is just 1 more option.

10/16/2010 update
Well I managed to deck someone out, and it was in the mirror match.  :P I played him in PvP the game before and rocked him due to him playing the shield too early.
The deck was changed down to 30 cards though  I should make it 31 and add in a piller.  ::)
The winning pecent is still high but firefly queen wreaks you also. The winning percent has gone down some but I have not been keeping track much.

I am not 100% sure how import works, I think you can only import cards that you have.
I would like to take this time to say I was on set 3 but quit due to there results.
8 wins, and 4 losses.
If you play against firefly decks you should be fully prepared to lose. 3 of those losses were to the samme firefly player, and 1 other was to another firefly deck and I forget the other.
I still stand by this deck as a good deck.
