Yeah, a couple of sanctuaries probably wouldn't hurt the deck too much.

Indeed they did not.  I had a few upped cards, but the deck worked like a charm; I got the EM and an Ulitharid.

My version of the steam machine deck (using whatever upped I had plus sundials) started great. I had a quint and BE steam machine around the 4th turn, a pulverizer around the 8th and total shutdown of his damage by the 6th (sundial and dim shield chain).

HOWEVER, my other two freaking quints were literally the last two cards in my deck. ugh. I had full health when I lost. I'm considering adding an eternity to prevent deckout and then rebalancing the quanta. I had no trouble setting up the control so I'm thinking this might raise the win prob via stopping deckout.

Well that sucked...  This deck worked before with fewer upgrades, but just flopped (didn't draw a pulvy and ran out of shields) because of some lame-ass RNG.  Oh well.

Would -1 Sky Dragon, +1 Sky Blitz be a bad idea?

Yeah, I've never liked Blitz in Cloaked Dragons. It doesn't add as much power as getting an early Dragon and that Dragon might just be Sky. Furthermore, you need high constant damage with Pulvy to overcome Bonds if Eldinis spams a lot, not burst damage.

Success. I would like to add that it is also quite useful to have a pet in order to draw Congeals away from the dragons.
