Click "League" in the main navigation.
Here you see the League rankings and match reports (it's still missing a lot of players).
Go back to first page.
Log in using "League" and "123456".Click "Dashboard" on the top-right.
Click "League" on the left.
Choose "Elements the League".
You can now make changes to league rankings
- you can change preferences
- you can add a new season
- you can add new teams (players)
- you can add new matches
- you can add match statistics
Add a new match and choose players "John Doe" and "Jane Doe"
Add a score and click "Update Results".
Go back to League page in Wiki and you will see that the score you just punched in has been updated to the database.
Now this system is still in beta and it's far from perfect but I would say it's much better and faster than the current system that uses a middle man who updates the rankings.
Biggest problem right now is that you cannot reset win-loss ratio. If you make a mistake when you update the database, you cannot fix it, so be careful. Only way to fix incorrect win-loss ratio is to delete the team (player) and type in the results again.
Feel free to test this out and tell me what you think. You can add you own name to the list (with picture), fight someone else one the list, and then go update the score.
Like I said this is just a beta. We will go LIVE sometime on January 2010.
