What other stuff should be added to the new wiki?

I filled in some missing stuff in wiki, and wondering what other stuff is missing.

The one thing we need right now is to organize the decks. I mean, seriously, more than 75% of all decks in the wiki right now are garbage. When I'm writing analyses for weekly featured cards, I had to look in the forums to find decks for "Decks Using This Card", because the decks in the wiki are unoptimized and useless.

First of all, thanks for helping out with the wiki.

The one thing we need right now is to organize the decks. I mean, seriously, more than 75% of all decks in the wiki right now are garbage. Yes. Decks are probably the number 1 priority at the moment, more specifically, deck template.

We need a default deck template that we can then use with all the decks we will import. It should have all the basic titles like "Strategy", and that "Quick Tips" box.

Planplan's deck image creator works on the wiki too as you can see from here: http://elementswiki.co.cc/decks/almost-non-upgraded-false-god-rainbow/ .So that's also something we need to use with all the future deck ideas, and current ones too.

So the deck project has 3 stages.

1. Build the template.
2. Import decks from the forums
3. Fix current decks in the wiki


We also need a video page. One article that has all the elements related YouTube videos nicely organized.

That's actually something that the wiki doesn't need. Wiki should be more like a "dictionary" while forums are the "daily newspaper".

I don't see any deck adding button in wiki.

SG, could you make something like that (i mean, all it has to do is to input the tag) in the wiki as well?

We should let the decks be filtered by editors first, instead of allowing anyone add random decks in there.

I'll start cleaning up and organizing the decks, and also bring some from the old wiki. That would help for now, i guess...

I have talked to SG a dozen times about this already. Eventually she is going to ask Zanz to change the wiki link on the game page to the new wiki.

As for the old wiki, I have already put a notice in big red text on the main page, telling people to go to the new wiki. If I try to do anything more, Wikia will probably immediately revert my edits. They don't care about Elements, they care about their own traffic, so they won't let me do anything that decreases the traffic.

My plan is to get most of the decks in the new wiki first, and maybe polish the layout a bit. While the current new wiki can be considered "ready", it won't be complete until we get the decks in there.

the rarity of cards are shown in each element's card thread.

The decks are indeed terrible and disorganized.

I have done my best to add a cheap earth/time deck. Now, the title actually says it IS a cheap earth/time deck and that it's for AI3-top 50 mostly.

If only others could do such a simple thing as well you wouldn't have to open every thread in search of a new deck...

I realize this would be difficult to do, since the wiki uses Google custom search, but a better search feature would be really helpful. A lot of the time, I find myself using the Wikia wiki simply because I don't feel like looking through 7 pages of search results to find the playing cost of a Gravity Shield
