Planplans Deck Image Creator installed to Wiki https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=7878.msg88080#msg88080

Planplans Deck Image Creator has been installed to Wiki!

Example: http://elementswiki.co.cc/decks/almost-non-upgraded-false-god-rainbow/

Image in that post was produced using the same exact code we use on these forums. Like this:

Code: [Select]
[deck mark=time author=Scaredgirl]4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 52n 52r 592 5c6 5c6 5f8 5oj 5ro 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5up 61t 621 621 6u6 74b 74b 7q5 7q5 7q5 7q5[/deck]We are still missing a button for this, so you need to write those deck tags manually for the time being.

Don't you want all the decks edited so they fit the deck image creator?

Yes, we will do that. Goal is that in 1-2 months, all the decks on Wiki have a deck image produced with this generator. Also all deck articles should have a uniform layout. Right now it's all just a big mess because they were all taken with copy-paste from the "old" wiki.

Yeah, we might be able to do it in a week, but the main problem is that there are a lot of crappy decks out there, and might be difficult to find motivated people to build those crappy decks to get the code. :)

We'll probably get rid of at least half of the decks currently in Wiki. There are clearly ones that are really bad.

Also we need to move the decks from the forums to Wiki. That process also takes some time.

I'll be fine going through the ones on the wiki and I'll start sifting through them now as long as I'm armed with the trainer and if you want me to, it should be easy enough.

Thanks.

First we need a template for it though. We need to decide what the deck posts look like. I'm thinking about something simple like this: http://elementswiki.co.cc/decks/almost-non-upgraded-false-god-rainbow/

First the deck, then some headings. What those basic headings are, I don't know. Maybe "Iintroduction", "Strategy" and a third one.

Well I probably couldn't write the extra bits but I could split already written things into those sections. That seems like a good idea though.

I actually can't think of anything else needed.

- Strategy
- Weaknesses and Counters
- Order of Upgrading
- how to customize this deck?
- some other stuff
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

I was playing around with the wiki by copy-reading/fixing the layout. I used the deck image creator (works great!) on nilsieboy's article (http://elementswiki.co.cc/articles/flowing-with-the-water-from-a-noob-to-pro/). I stopped changing the images, though, because I noticed that the wiki doesn't have Planplan's most updated deck image creator (notice the pillar images). Is it alright if I keep on changing the images in the article, or should I stop and wait for the image creator to be updated on the wiki? I wouldn't want to have the images redone if they break after the update.

Yea, I haven't updated the Wiki deck image builder yet.

Images won't have to be redone after I've updated it. The broken images you see now will automatically get fixed.

Speaking of Image Creator....

it desperately needs to be updated on the wiki. It doesn't show the cards for 1.25 and 1.26, mainly pendulums, and would really appreciate if the change is made as soon as possible.
